Went shopping last night looking for a flat pink primer for the monoliths without any luck. :( Only could find Gloss pink which my wife doesn't want me to prime the Monoliths for. I was eyeballing a neon green primer, but she wouldn't go for it. Ah well.

I don't want him to prime the monoliths pink, to be honest. I'm gonna paint them a light pink with vines on them I think....

I'm having issues painting the stupid pumpkin golem thingy. It's requiring tons of coats of orange over the black primer. And the vines are twisty messes that also require lots of coats....needless to say it is taking a lot longer than expected.

I hope I don't botch it...

I haven't fielded it yet. But when I do, if I get grief about it, I'll put the actual deceiver on the table, and he's got a little plasticard sign that says, "My opponent is a jackass."

He hasn't been used in a game yet. He should be ok to use as a counts as. I think Dash has a backup plan in case someone is a

Updated with pictures of my Deceiver.

The actual Deceiver is about 1/4" taller, but significantly thinner; I can't think of any situation where someone could complain that I'm modeling for advantage because rhinos, razorbacks, and chimeras - and cover saves never give him a benefit on the table.

Just in case though, I *do* plan on having the Deceiver (possibly primed black only) with a little plasticard sign attesting to the douchery of my opponent available as a substitute.
