I'm glad I'm not alone in seeing that! I'd love a set of figures for LOST but there are only a few figures I've found so far that are suitable. If you want a Hurley though, Hasslefree do that large Shaun of the Dead guy with a golf club. Greenstuff some hair, minimum conversion work - perfect.

Very awesome and excellent detail! I'd buy just the heads if they were available separately from the torsos. Do they scale well with genetically engineered, power armored warrior monks?

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Excellent work as always! If I move on to doing a penal legion squad, I'll definitely get this set. There's a lot of character in those bits, and dare I say they're as good as your kilted guardsman sets. Are they meant to mix with "sci fi troopers" or "space Rambos" if you don't mind my asking?

Initially for "sci-fi troopers" but as those and "space Rambos" are basically interchangeable, they should work with both, but I will have a try when I get the Masters back

Said monks seem to have quite a variety of head sizes. My heads are about the same size as those from "sci-fi troopers". I'll try it when I get the masters back.

Please do! All wish lists welcome.

Reference the above, two orders received from Victoria with no import charges. The second order arrived today (27 Sept) after being placed on 16 Sept so definitely no complaints from me.

Thanks, actually the final set is planned to have the ten heads and 3x the torso sprue making 9x convict torsos and heads plus 1 officer head.
Or would people prefer less torsos?

the torsos are quite characterfull. mabye make some more options? a few with bionic work would be interesting

The choice of only 3 torso variants is the only thing I dislike about these - not enough variety for a big unit. Definitely make the heads available without torsos, for those who either don't like the torsos or will be mixing in other torsos for variety.

Of course, if they sell like hotcakes then definitely consider doing some more torso variants

Hmm, another option would be to sell separate 'slave collars', so that customers can sand down the top of any other suitable torso and fit the collar then a head on top? Maybe too fiddly though...

Any chance of doing some "sci-fi colonial trooper with pith helmets" conversions? The guy in my avatar would love some new buddies.

Might be a possibility in the future. But keep in mind the cadian 10 man plastic box only comes with one torso variant.

Actually working on one now
Was thinking of making him a one piece full mini. Or would separate torso/legs/head be preferred?

Being able to swap the head and/or backpack would be great for me as I'm using Secret Weapon ones with my kilted leg guys. That said for a one off, I'd be happy converting a one piece figure if necessary.

Thanks for the input.
if I do a piper with a variable head option he won't be able to be actually playing the bagpipes, just holding them.
Is this a problem?
Would be interested to see your take on Stormtroopers, although rumour has it that GW will be doing those anytime "soon".

Bring it on!

I'm liking the penal bits, and I'd totally forgotten about your highland themed guard, although I wouldn't use the heads, packs.
I'm liking the idea of a squad mixed with bearded heads for a highland themed couple of squads as elites.

On a side note, I've tended to raise this with sculpters, but lack of decent attempts so far, means I am always looking for a sculpter who could pull it off.

Female Guard, I would throw much monies at you if you could figure it out, I am sure I am not the only one?

I find it funny that people are complaining about a lack of variety in the Penal Troop torsos. I mean, don't prisoners all wear the same jumpsuit at a prison? Even in the movie The Dirty Dozen, the archetype for this unit, they all wear regular army uniforms. It was really only GW's Last Chancers that provided this image of individual-looking Penal Troops. Even GW's original penal legionnaires had the same uniform.
