Hi Guys, its been wayyyy to long between releases for Victoria Miniatures, so expect quite a few in the coming weeks, starting with this:

Penal Guard Conversion Kit: Contains x 9 convict heads and torsos plus one officer head. Fully compatible with the Highland Guard. Available now!.
All the bits are also available separately, followed closely by some more releases to be announced soon.

Cheers and happy gaming,

Those look great, I really like the expressions they are making.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

HA ha, well spotted!
The other seven are just assorted cons.

Thanks for that comment, I really wanted to do some expressive faces, I see a lot of heads that look either totally bored or dead.
Cheers,
V

Wow, how fortuitous. I was just thinking about building a Penal Legion centered Imperial Guard army, but wasn't sure what to do for miniatures.

That's actually a rather nice set. Full of character, and fairly well sculpted.

I especially like the head with the glasses though, you may want to make a sprue of heads with just those. They're characterful enough I'd be interested in a regiment made up with just those.

oooooooooooh, these are so nice, I could have a ork prisoner unit.

Some of these remind me of prisoners from Alien3. That is what I always thought a future penal unit would be like.

It's a testament to the detail and quality when people don't just look at them and say "yep, that's a face" but when they start likening the detailed faces to TV Shows and Movies.

This is some of the best stuff I've seen. The disgruntled expressions on the faces make them all the more convict-looking. Amazing.

Cool, actually that face was loosely based on Sean Connery, I was thinking he might make a re-appearance leading some Highland Guard

Thanks for the interest. There will be a few sets at MOAB on Saturday. I will officially put them up in the store as soon as I know for sure when the production casts will be ready. I would hope this will be some time next week. I also have to settle on a price.
Cheers,

Really nice set, and just enough parts to make them look like Penal Troops! Awesome work.

Would be interested to see your take on Stormtroopers, although rumour has it that GW will be doing those anytime "soon".

Thanks, actually the final set is planned to have the ten heads and 3x the torso sprue making 9x convict torsos and heads plus 1 officer head.
Or would people prefer less torsos?

That sounds perfect to me, to represent a penal squad as it appears in the current IG codex...
