More stuff! I Finished some trueborn to accompany the Count and also took some overall shots of the army. Again the lighting is bit less than perfect though.
The loincloths look bit messy. even more in the pic than in real life, I sort of wanted to have bit uneven texture on them as they are after all shreds of human skin, but maybe I'll have to touch them up a bit.
Army gathering on the stove, where seems to be the best lighting in the flat.
And some additional pics of the army:

http://jamo.1g.fi/eldar/dark+eldar/army_wyches.JPG
Next up, some assembling. Two venoms and 3 bikes to do. One of the venoms will be the ride of the Count and his 4 trueborns (I just have the ones with shard carbines and splinter cannons in my list) with grisly trophies from all of my enemies in the campaign. After I get them done I'll get to play. I'm facing some necrons and imperial guard next week.

I got few more wyches finished:
Maybe not the best paintjobs of the army, the hair is bit rushed, but I'm quite pleased on the blacklining. I got new brush recently which made detailing like this possible.
I also took a photo of my glass cabinet. Not the best photo, but what it lacks in sharpness it makes up with size. In addition to these models I also have ~200 dwarves and a tau army in boxes.

Some more work has been done on the army. Which is good as we'll be playing the 1500 point games of our campaign on next saturday.
These are the latest additions:
And here they are with their friends:
The reaavers:
The Tentacles (personal trueborn bodyguard of Count Calamarai):
And here is everything currently done on the table:
On next week I'll finish the second raider and two venoms that have currently all the base colours done and washed. After them I'll also try to get done another five hellions that are currently still shrink wrapped in their box. Should be manageable...

As the deadline is closing, more stuff is coming out from the webway.
I just finished these skimmers:
From left to right: "Kraken's Grasp, Manta's Sting and Kraken's Claw"
And here are some closer pics from the Venom 'Kraken's Grasp'. It has heads from all my opponents in the campaign as Grisly trophies:
And proud warriors with their new ride:
Next up I'll put together some Hellions. Deadline is closing, but it should however be manageable to get the hellions done. Especially as I'm on sick leave with flu...
After that I've planned to add a second battleforce, two razorwings, a talos, some wracks and a venom for them. After that this will be already 3000 point army (with some additional harlequins from my eldar army). Even if bit intypical as it won't have any ravagers and just 8 vehicles.
And after that the new chaos codex will probably be released so I can get back on expanding my Word bearers.

Looking great.
On a side note - Am I the only one who thinks it's really bizzare that they made the plate at the front between the 'blades' above the splinter cannon a flat, angled piece? It seems so out of place with the sleek curves everywhere else on the venom.

The scheme looks really nice, nicely unique. Also the dirt splashes here and there with chippings is all good in my eyes.
And you are starting to have quite a force there.
It was nice seeing some these models in real life, hopefully will get a game against these guys someday.

Lovely - although the curled markings on the left venom and right raider aren't doing much for me... (the overall look and feel and weathering is though!)

They are supposed to be tentacles, as those are Count Calamarai's personal rides. But especialy on the venom I didn't really get the result that I was planning for. Still repainting them would be annoying as they would need quite many coats of the bone colour to hide, so they are good enough as they are now. I hate freehand painting.

Thanks, it would be a pleasure to face your rew wolves, and shouldn't be too hard to arrange when you get back to Finland.

Some fresh additions for the fleet. The Hellions got some much needed support:
My favourite models of the new range. I'll probably do some beastmasters later, which also mean some additional hellions, but they are good for now.
Tomorrow I'm going to finally get some heavy support. In the end I came to conclusion that it'll be two ravagers and a razorwing with distintegraators, though I'll magnetize the weapons for the flyer just in case...

Not much work done on last two weeks as I was sick yet again. Now the project is back on running. I decided to post some wips if someone is interested how my models look midway to completion:
Some heavy support on the way with a succubus for additional close combat punch. I had earlier bought a haemonculus, but after a game I felt it was bit pointless. It was mainly in to grant my hellions feel no pain from the beginning, but if I don't get the starting turn I most likely have to reserve most of my army and in that case I don't want to join it to my hellions. Also having 65 point model for just that is boring. It's more fun to have one more extra killy female.
And here is the aforementioned succubus in closer view:
I'll have an objective to finish the Ravagers before the end of the week as I'll be enjoying some Catalonian sun in Barcelona for next week. The deadline for the whole army is the last weekend of April, when I'm participating in a tournament. So far it looks good, after everything in the pic I'll basically have a 1850 point army ready. Still I'm not sated with it as I'll get a second battleforce to get my old wyches replaced with newer ones and get one more transport for my warriors. It'll be one busy April...
As a bonus, I took few in action photos from the game that I mentioned:
Hellions, wyches and Scourges overrun the Space wolf front line. (Sharpeyed viewers can notice single wolf guard in the middle of the hellions, there were three when I charged, the wolf guard survived of course and in return killed the Baron who failed his Shadowfield save as always...
While the kabalite warriors hold the objective (the red tetrahedron of randomized power) with giant humanoid looming on the background.

Your stuff is amazing! The brown base along with the weathering is stupendous, and the freehand blows everything I've ever done right out of the water.
You've got yourself some resounding talent. Only use this for good, however. The ramifications for creating Ravagers for the Dark Side are both terrible and painful.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm blushed of all the positive comments.
I'm about to buy an airbrush, so the Razorwing will probably be first model for that. I'm thinking about similar colour scheme as with the rest, but with some dark brown "camo lines" to make it feel a bit more realistic fighter jet.
Today will be next outing for the army as my friend's new necrons will come for a visit to my homeworld.

I participated in a torunament last weekend. Which means that I got a 1850 army painted. Plus the old wyches, the Count and a single blaster warrior that didn't fit in to my list/plans.
I didn't remember to take a camera with me to the tournament, but I hope to get some photos afterwards from my opponents. However I took some photos from my Razorwing, Succubus and from some extra wyches:
The wyches
The Razorwing
Different view.
And I'm also happy to say that I won the best painted trophy in the tournament:
http://www.nopat.fi/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/paras-armeija.jpg
The army left me mixed feelings. My list had almost everything that I have painted:
Baron
Succubus with agoniser
4 trueborns with splinter cannons and shardcarbines in venom
5 warriors with blaster in a venom
2x7 wyches with power weapon and grenades in night shielded raiders
10 walking warriors with splinter cannon and a blaster
14 hellions with stunclaw
6 bikes with 2 heat lances
5 scourges with heat lance and haywire launcher
2 ravagers
Razorwing with disintegrators
I played against:
Paladins, primary killpoints secondary objectives, lost killpoints 6-0, won objectives 1-0, in total 5-15 loss.
Vanilla marines with shooty vehicles and some terminators, destroyed everything besides two land speeders that were left weaponless and immobile. Didn't get all the 5 objectives as I lost one troop squad so won 16-4.
Orks with 2 big nob biker squads, table quarters and killpoints, I destroyed everything besides one biker squad with minor losses. 20-0 win
Blood angels with 3 devastator squads and 50 assault marines. We only got to play 4 turns (in 3,5 hours) and the game ended just when I was about to finish half of the remaining 30 jumpers and take/contest all the objectives. Ended up as a draw.
Last game was against razorspam grey knights. I lost all my models quickly and lost 0-20.
The army was in the end bit boring. Against the grey knights I didn't have a chance and against the other armies my opponents didn't have too much chance. It felt like playing bit more complicated rock paper scissors and it's not exactly what I want from this game.
I think I'll try tournament gaming next time in 6th edition. Current grey knight metagame is just killing all the fun from tournaments. Especially as around here the spammy grey knight armies are usually really horrible looking with stuff made hastily from cardboard and painted in less than an evening...
On next weekend however is the next round of our campaign. I'll take some in action shots from there so watch this place.

To be fair, the true test of a cardboard model is if you can tell it's cardboard or not. Generally if it's been made well and painted, people aren't that likely to realise, so if it's poorly made and painted they deserve at least funny looks and/or disdain. I know that people generally don't realist that my Talos and Talos / Cronos are made of card.

I don't have anything against well made stuff no matter the used material, but when it's razorback turrets made from cardboard that overlaps the joins and drinking straws fro gun barrels, it doesn't get my thumbs up...
