Elspeth looks ok but I was disappointed wiht the painted version I seen on the web.

Chaos lord on khorne is also epic.

40k wise: all of the dark eldar! And Lemartes.

The Termie chaplin is full of awesome. Think thats my favourite GW model.

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.

Just awesome.

Sorry, don't get the love for Astorath. That axe permanently held over his head just looks really wrong. For BA I do like Lemartes and Gabriel Seth, other characters are pretty meh.

Favourite model is still the trygon for me.

It's really the most orky model ever. It even has gretchin reloading the main gun inside (and it's got a special rule concerning exactly those gretchin screwing up). Now, if I just had the spare teef to buy it...

For non-FW:

Well, considering my avatar, who would have guessed

This model is one of the two reasons I started WH40k at all. The other reason being the ork codex

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

These are three of the ones I like best. I have a very hard time for favourites, and there are so many models I just love.

I really just love the Wraithlord.

It's not the best model out there, but those wings and that armour just looks awesome.

The FW Company Commander looks soooooo much better than the GW one.

IMO the new Scourges are, without a shadow of a doubt, the nicest models GW have ever made.

Actual conversation from my stats class-
Student: Why is the denominator on that equation n-1?
Prof: n is very good, but n-1 is also very good.

Yeah, I saw.
But the only reason that I see someone hating it is because of the "Micky" ears, as they put it.
Personally, I really like it.

Ah yes, the Squiggoth.
Or is that the Gargantuan Squiggoth?

Also, have you read the omnibus Hammer of the Emperor? A Gargantuan Squiggoth vs. Armored Regiment happens in there (though by that time it is about 40 LRBT's, and a good dozen or so are destroyed by the Squiggoth, most from getting trampled on).

Of course the FW stuff looks better! That's the point XD

I'd say Lelith is up there, mainly because she's an indication of what GW can do with female models, but refuses to due to bull headed policies of pandering to a demographic that they don't know how to freakin' pander to.
