I do like those play them as speeders would be sweet, though they wont be playable at official tournaments. In friendly games you should be fine

Is it because of the wheels? And I think I don't like them because of the two space marines in it or something XD I'm not totally sure why I don't like it. But, the white scars paint job looks amazing.

Troops and FNP w/ Angels is your best friend.

Now that, is something I could DEFINITELY use. Wonder how he made that XD and I see he made a 3 part list and then did a 1750 version. I think I may try for another 10 man assault squad? Depending on points but a couple of land speeders doesn't hurt my feelings either. Have them crush the executioner tank I'm sure I'll have SOOO much fun dealing with =/

Thats is a landspeeder tempest from forge world... Meltas are your friend against tanks. Bikes are a very usable option but I think Baal predators are better options for the fast slot.

I was reading his ideas on another list called "bling rodeo" and I think the dropping of the libby on a bike for 5 more termies to come in is a stupendous Idea.
I think I'd like to try both though XD and when he says TH/SS he means thunder hammer and storm shield which is standard for CC termies yes? and I have 2 baal preds already I wouldn't mind some cover for the bikes and that heavy turret going to town but I like the idea of the fast skimmer on the land speeder or more troops. hmm lots to think out on this one xD

yea that land speeder tempest is actually a different unit. It would be much more cost efficient to find a way to convert normal land speeders, Forge World stuff is very expensive.

The problem with the buggy speeders is that GW sponsored tournaments can be picky on what they will allow. I guess truthfully I can't say that they wouldn't allow them but its a possibility.

TH/SS is not standard. I know codex marines get them as a free upgrade but I'd thought Id heard that there is a pt cost to upgrade from BA termies. Speeders are relatively cheep points wise. If your serious about starting bikes and need the models look into one of the Ravenwing battleforces looks like this:

its a good start with bikes and throws in an attack bike and speeder. both are good to start with. Look into buying it off a third party site like miniature market or the Warstore. These places will knock about $30 of GW price. I've also found ebay auctions before for 6 or so bikes for a decent price, but be careful on ebay.

I found the bikes on ebay at a decent price and it's through paypal so if they don't send them I don't pay =) but I need 20 bikes and at those prices it's gonna be nuts =/ I already blew right at 400$ on this army now I'm backtracking for another 100$ =/

Yea i'm very greatful that the atleast switched to the new model which is agreeably a better looking model. The bikes can be expensive models. Though compared to others its not too bad

I'm getting the bikers at 6 for 25$ and I'll buy the two bigger bikes (I mess up their name every time I try) and then I'll need the librarians and the terminators. and I have I believe 30 assault marines and 10 DC which I could swap weapons out enough to get the ASM the correct weapon load outs =)

Ah I believe thats what I got 6 of my bikes at. maybe even 35 actually. One hell of a deal there. again scour ebay for a good deal for the attack bikes. hopefully you can get some good deals and it wont be too taxing on your wallet

I was gonna trade the rhinos I have for them XD and I have a couple extra sanguinary guard squads to hopefully cover the termies and the librarians

Idk much about Sang guard so no clue if its effective. Rhino for attack bike is effectively the same cost wise and pts wise. I put more stock in rhinos then others though, so I don't like to give up my rhinos

Well, they can't carry my JP ASM so I'm a lot less impressed with them than I was.

oh wow! How you do like the white scars? I haven't ever been able to find much of their fluff and they have a whole 2 sentences in the horus heresy novels I'm up to so I've never really heard much.

On a side note after seeing the list this guy has me looking at (kirby that is the blood rodeo list XD) Do you know what weapons a standard bike comes with? Will I need any extra bits?

I really enjoy my Scars. Yea they really have the short end when it comes to fluff. Though they have 2 black library books and a few notable things here and there. I'm starting to get a really good feel for how these guys play.

Bikes come standard with the twin linked bolters that are laid into the handle bars. They should come with those as part of the bike. Other then that each Biker has a bolt pistol. You don't need a bit for those but can put them on as a decoration. Again the Bolt pistols are not needed so you shouldnt need to buy anything extra for regular bikers. Though any melta's or special weapons for your sergeants won't come with the bikes so you will have to find those

Would I be able to find the meltas in a normal ASM box? Or are the meltas/flamers attached to bikes?

they will be in held in the marines hand. you may have a few meltas in an assault marine box not sure where they are found.

only place I see them is the Tactical squad boxes. Try looking on Ebay or different sites that sell just bits

Is it the 2 handed melta or do they even make a 1 handed melta? Sigh this has been the most complicated adventure building this army >.>

friendly games it probably won't matter. As long as your opponent agrees on it shouldn't be a big deal. Again if playing Tournaments they like to see whats in your list on the table.

In a BA army, librarians come in power armor as a standard and a terminator armor cost points. W/ BA you'd want to have 1 in power armor so you can give it a jump pack...

I don't mind getting the metlas I just don't wanna spend a million dollars gettimg them all together =/ and giving the libby a jump pack? I thought he was riding on a bike =[

The list you are building comes with your librarians on bikes. They can actually only wear power armour while on biker though so dont buy anything in terminator armour
