Monday, July 2 - called to find out where my rules are and was told that it has not shipped and my order is in the warehouse. Due to so much going on they cannot give me an idea when I might see it.

I'm in the same boat.
I called GW and was treated like a moron for asking why my item was not shipped or when it would ship.

I got an email with a tracking #. My order is now on the way.

Inevitably, when an MMO launch is royally fecked--they give out "free game time" and people stick around.

Then Blizzard releases some Panda pet and everyone flees the game like rats fleeing a sinking ship.

GW CS has handled this entire thing like crap. I have finally had enough of it. From now on I will stick to the FLGS, eBay, or other online discounters. My days of ordering GW direct are now over.

has it not occurred to anyone else that gw MAY have also seen how much they get in fleabay - and has MAYBE decided to post them all up there instead of handing them out for rrp? I bet you MAY see a few every week for the next few months on there.... say 10 a week in each country - they COULD MAYBE offload the lot for 300% markup in a matter of weeks..HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING OF COURSE.....

One thing that's odd to me, I ordered the Sunday of the 24th?
Got my confirmation email of purchase 6-26, shipping tracking on 6-29 and it arrived today 7-3.
It sounds like some of you ordered before I did, and they cancelled it? Very odd..

It was the 23rd that I ordered. I was that evening. I just double checked. My mistake.

I just received my ultimate bundle today. Like many others, I got a ship notification last week, but no tracking number until late yesterday afternoon. I was a little miffed at the miscommunication and the delay, until I noticed they had shipped it priority overnight, which at 31 pounds must have cost a small fortune (incidentally, 31 pounds for a pair of books, a bag, and some miscellaneous plastics?), so I didn't really lose any time on the deal.

Any lingering ill-will was dissipated when I opened it a couple minutes ago. The package weighed so much because they doubled my order! Two normal books, two collector's books, two bags, two sets of templates and dice, a purity seal lapel pin, a coffee mug, and a nice hand-signed thank-you note.

For all their many and varied faults, for which they justifiably take much flak, I can honestly say GW really has nailed the essence of customer service.

Nice to see the positive, Creeperman! Doesn't necessarily cover the gaffs of not sending out bags with the gamer's editions, but what they did for you was very generous.

My friend Jep and I are in the same boat. I ordered Gamers Edition (+cards, templates, and dice), he ordered the Collectors Edition, both on the 23rd, literally minutes after the sale went live.

We both received our notification of shipping on 06/26. All our friends went to the FLGS and got theirs on Saturday, and now we are sitting around waiting for ours. He called earlier today and customer service was nice enough to confirm that our orders had been confirmed. We both got a second shipping confirmation and a tracking number that went live earlier today, both of which indicate a delivery date of 07/06.

Still, I wasn't happy and sent off a rather irritated email - considering I spend like $200+ a year for direct sales from GW, not the mention the special orders via our FLGS. I await my response. I hope everything we ordered gets received whole.

A coffee cup might be nice too.

I ordered my collectors 2 minutes before midnight in the UK the day before the release (right after it came up) and I just got the e-mail today that it will be at my house on the 6th. My friend got his gamer's today and he ordered his 3 hours after I ordered mine... makes me want to cancel my order and just pick one up at my flgs. Ill get it quicker that way.

I'm actually in the same boat as both of you, but my order was in processing from the date of the order(6/26) until today when I got a shipping notice.

This is the longest turnaround time I've seen from GW direct in quite awhile.

what was the weight on the collectors for anyone else?

Collectors edition is hella big.. my shipping scale says it's 6 pounds 3.2 ounces

My order said shipped Friday, then I got a tracking number today, then I saw that it has yet to be even picked up... um... good thing it shipped on Friday!

Gamer's was 7lbs 3oz.
I figured the collectors would have weighed more?

The order is 7.3 lbs anyway nasty e-mail sent to GW from me. This is the third time in 4 orders that have been muffed. I think I just made my last direct order from gw. I got an atrocious FC necron lord from them and got no response from the e-mail I sent complaining about it. So E-bay and swap shop have just became my best friends. No more brand new expensive things from those guys for me not with their terrible customer service.

They actually have really great customer service (in general) rothrich. Try giving them a call, instead of an email.

Biggest reason many people "never get email replies" is because their spam filters put the Customer Service replies as spam.

That doesn't look good. /sigh ... I think I am going to have to give them a call. Maybe tomorrow, with the holiday, they may not be too busy.

So in order to apologize for your order taking a bit long, they deny someone else something they probably ordered at the same time as you did? No wonder they are running short on things and canceling orders.

This isn't good customer service, this is assinine. Typical GW. My guess is their CS is just as disjointed as their design team, with quality of service varying wildly based on which employee is providing it.

What I've noticed happen is that it will not even appear in the Spam box.

We have had isues with the few Gamers edition that were ordered at our FLGS here in Houston.

The Gamers Edition was oversold - hence why the majority of complaints are regarding these

There was a small batch of the Collectors Edition that had a few blotches on the foldout of terra artwork.

The numbers were similar to the 5th rollout; GW just underestimated demand and the computer systems pulled them from the website awhile after the stock ran out. GW had to source more from the manufacturer.

Yeah, that sounds like it's more stupid than it is generous. Pretty sure they could have found some other way to make it up to him besides literally doubling his order on an item they were clearly already short on and having trouble filling out orders for.

Mine says it shipping on the 28th, and has gone through Missouri, and is currently in Ohio. Fedex tells me to expect my Gamer's Edition to be delivered on the 7th.

Nice, considering I placed the order within 15 minutes of the pre-orders going live.

Had mine delivered to the local GW store.
I picked it up on saturday, all items were there ...
