That is really coming along nicely! I am slightly envious of your rivets! I haven't had a chance to try my hand at them yet! but yours look lovely and suitably Orkish in nature! bravo!

well thee rokkit at least. My rivet material arrived today via UPS, so it made finishing a no brainer. Lots of gubbinz added! I also got some time to work on the silo and smoke base.

I'm particularly liking the use of expanding foam to make the rocket's take off look good. I've got a can of the stuff sitting around that I might have to use for something similar.

well i am putting this to rest. I have sealed the foam and flock with Hodge Podge, all thats let is sanding the surfaces and paint. Monkey i thought about a rail or track to move the pile... i may still do it, but to be honest i just did not want to mess with it.

I wish I were this good at plasticard.

That said, this is awesome. I will watch with great interest.

Excellent stuff. Have you played Gorkamorka? You've got the perfect scenery for it.

I am really impressed by the kitty litter + glue mix that you use, it looks a lot better than similar mixes I have tried. It looks like cement, can you share the formula? And you seal it with hodge podge? What's that exactly? If I ever make any of this sort of terrain I want to copy you precisely!

HA! I have played maybe 2 games of 40k in my 10 years of building Orks, Gorkamorka.... i wish Bruticus, i wish i could give you an exact amount of glue to kitty litter, but i can't. You want it wet enough to hold shape is the best i can do. Different kitty litter has different absorption rates. I dont use the stuff that clumps. It helps if you coat the surface area with glue first. You also dont want to press to hard when you are placing it or you will lose the grittiness of it all. I usually do 2 runs. After the first run i let it dry the day and then shake off all the lose flock before i touch up spots i don't like.

My bad... it's not Hodge Podge ... it's Mod Podge http://www.plaidonline.com/mod-podge/brand/home.htm. The stuff is the bomb for sealing pink foam and the kitty littler!
