Highly impressive - what source material are you drawing on for your inspiration? I don't know the Old Ones are particularly described in 40K background.

However, your depiction is certainly amazing

I have finished beefing out the arms and done a little bit of bling on the blades to match with the armour i can now set about the hands and some clothes/armour for the upper body.

the larger swords will have a bit more work done to the handles they are intended to work like rice flails and b sort of reversable.

Do you just work in this scale, or do you do 28mm models too?

(And/or is there a gallery of more of your work, it's pretty damn impressive regardless )

Ah. I'm currently working on designs for my Mont'au Raiders (they're going to be a cross between Tau and ancient japanese aesthetic / Juraian) and will need someone to sculpt the 'sprues' for a large percentage of the force...

Though I can keep you in mind for titan-y things I suppose

Have done some work on the arms, decided less was more still have some tidying up of the wrist straps left to do bit tricky doing these by the way (had to leave a socket for the hands to fit in and out of the back shirt/vest part turned out rather well once i do the front i will decide if i should go "Roman armour" and match the skirt. Enjoy

Have a little progress on the shoulders, managed to match them up with the skirt armour without covering up too much shoulder scale detailing i also roughed out the punch dagger hands.

That's coming together beautifully. Was a little unsure of the wings on the punch-dagger blades at first, but seeing that theme's been continued elsewhere it's all good.

Ok heres the updates on the torso clothing and shoulder pads that would make Joan collins envious lol

re doing the shoulder armour a bit longer really worked imo. I am in a bit of a quandry tho with regard to the ywo main arms i had planned on doing too rice flail like swords but im sort of torn between that and a more klingon like two hand one piece batleth type of thing. opinions would be appreciated please.

Not sure how a batleth style weapon would look with the punch daggers below - weren't you making the hands removable? You could always make one to swap out if so.

All great stuff anyway

Yor skill level is amazing, your work is incredible. It not only about quality and sculpt level, its about the type of care you give to the details, and how you build your thing to look alive.

Congratulations...

But, i must be a douche here, and present you with a realistic feedback, you deserve it as real as possible, as you have a lot of room for improvement (not because you do a bad work, but because you show an incredible potential)

Your talent with the muscles and skin sculpt is undoubtfull, but in some places, specially on shoulder pads, and other "inorganic" details, you still do it to soft. My impression is that when you come to those parts, you somewhat miss sharpness, and it start to look rough.

Please, dont take me wrong, your working is great, a rare kind of skill and talent composition, your "rough" is light years ahead of my "sharp", a trully amazing piece of art. But i see a lot of room for you to improve it. (right now, other followers of your work wants me to burn in pain :/)

Sorry if i was rude, and keep that amazing job. I really want to see it complete, maybe even painted. Im sure it will deserve a 12/12 on "cool mini or not"

If my post show some BAD spelling issues, please forgive-me, english is not my natural language, and i never received formal education on it...
