Also known as the baddest Warboss there is, "The Beast" who was huge and strong enough to take down the Emperor and require Horus to help him take him down, but still it was the Waaagh! Under The Beast that had gigantic boyz.

Nobz the size of dreads: you will notice my ones while better stat wise, are not those nobs, but ALL Orks encountered were indeed deadlier, go read any of the hh books that they are in and see what I mean, I suggest brotherhood of the storm as particularly good read.

You are correct there was only one "beast" but I have made the ork "warlord" a Lord of war choice to represent these massive warbosses that have popped up in the fluff from time to time.


If you have any suggestions for stats, please go ahead, it is very easy to criticise others work but not put up your own, so my lovely dakkaites make those suggestions.

What changes would you make to codex guard?

Not sure, since they are coming up later on in the HH books.

Though for the Ork Warlord I think you should include an option like: Epic Warlord Armor. A 2+ sort of armor that allows for the Warlord to take far stronger guns, like the ability to shoot say..Rokkits at S6 Large blast sort of weaponry, since a big boss is gonna have bigger, better guns and armaments on him too. What with being that big and all.

Ultimate dakka!
The warlord has the following weapon

Kustom mega doom blastakilla, or the k.m.d.b

Range 18" Str d6 +4 AP 2 assault d3+3 pistol, over powered,
Blind, strikedown, armourbane, line of effect, gets hot,
Master krafted

Over powered: da warlord as da most killy shooty blasta eva made by da umies or da orks, cos e is da warlord see?
A weapon with this special rule forgo all its shots (I.e no longer d3+3), for d3 str10 ap2 large blast (5") shots, if any of the shots "gets hot" they may not be 're-rolled by any means, instead roll the scatter dice as close to the warlord as possible, the nearest unit (friend or foe) that the arrow.points to is hit with the shot.

Master krafted: the warboss May 're-roll the gets hot dice for his shots (except any overpowered shots) if this dice also rolls a 1, he suffers a wound with no saves of any kind allowed, including feel no pain.

Line of, effect: roll to hit with each shot as normal, if hit draw a line 18" from the base of the warlord in any direction, any model that falls under this line takes an automatic hit from the weapon, you may not fire into combat or hit friendly models with this weapon, if sshooting at a fmc or a flyer the roll to hit as normal (snap shots) if hit the flyer will be hit but any other unit type will not (I.e if shooting a flyer, then only flyers may be hit, if shooting any other unit type flyers and fmcs will not be hit.)

This weapon costs 75pts for a warlord and no more than 1 can be taken regardless or allies or any other warlords. So agree who has this with your friends if playing with multiple warlords

Not exactly cause and effect, the big e saw the eldar fall coming (honestly who wouldn't at that point) and was primed to start the crusade as soon as the storms abated.

A note on the emperor, he lived through the dark age of technology... Why does no one ever seem to notice this?

If you want 30K tau, you need to remake the rules you made for them, as they are currently totally crippling, and rendering the army unplayable.

HOWEVER, as a tau player, I must say tau got no place in a 30k game, they didn't even have flintlock rifles back then.

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Seriously though, "survivors" with pulse rifles? that thing is a +1 bolter.

New changes after some play testing

Nobz are now 5-15, if taking bikes 5-10, mega Nobz are unchanged
Lootas are now 10-20 and are 20pts each, but gain the ultimate dakka rule:
Ultimate dakka: once per game one unit of lootas May fire twice, if they do so they may not fire in the next game turn (this includes overwatch)
Burnas are 10-20, and may take a Burna nob for 10pts, this does not replace the Mek option.

All Orks have the feel no pain 6+ Special rule, Dock tools add +1 to this, this replaces the doks tools special rules in codex Orks.
All Orks receive +1 str and I across the board, for Ork boys and Nobz only
Ork boys +2pt each (to keep hoard feel)
Nobz +5pts each
Warboss 90pts basic, 1-3 per hq, may purchase from the Relics of the Brainboyz list in addition to normal
options

New unit type
warlord: 250 0-1 Lord of waaaagh

Options: as per warboss, May not take bike
