11th page! Not to bad at all
Anyway, the banner bearer is all done with the exception of a few little bits. Please give me you thoughts!
The banner was copied from a picture off the internet, I drew (not traced!) the image onto another bit of paper, scaling it down at the same time. I then painted over the pencil with paints trying to keep as close to the original image as I could (the original image below)
http://sepulchreofheroes.blogspot.com/2009/11/blood-angels-banner.html
There is a bit of an unsightly line in the middle of the banner from the original pencil marks. It should come off easily enough though.
Wow! This has been a busy weekend for me. I hope to get a lot of painting done in the months to come so look out for moah stuff!

I really like that model....its so unusual to see a banner waving terminator. I'm scared of doing banners so I think the one you've done is all the better.
Brother Wolverine from the previous page is gorgeously painted too. OLS is looking good.

Thanks PDH, glad you like them!
After having a Christmas break, I am back to painting and very daunted by the huge pile of models to paint. Anyway, I have painted another DC marine. It only took me two hours to do as I was painting feverishly trying to get it done at 10 o'clock last night.
Blue flames

I have also been working on my tyranids army and am trying to finish it before it becomes the 6th anniversary of not having finished them yet. Lictor and strange plant thing from 'battle for Magragge'
I am now clean out of blood red paint, time to paint some IG methinks!

I have finished painting the sanguinary priest. The armour is all blood splattered and worn to show that he is often found where the fighting is he thickest.
A little freehand on the pad.
Automatically Appended Next Post: I also finished the scout sentinel with camo netting. It is amazing what a bit of bandage and devlan mud can do!
Tried out some weathering powders on the foot
I may not have many interesting updates for a while now as I am simply basing all my marines at once (airbrush is needed!)

I'm guessing those are the space hulk Termies? I need to find a way to track some of them down. They have great dynamic poses.

Does anyone know a good (simple) tutorial on how to create press molds? I have been searching for them but they never seem to make much sense. I am planning on casting some BA bits that I have lying around as I need a lot of them to decorate a whole fortress of redemption While I am on that subject, do you think the fortress should be painted a nice deep red colour or black to represent a Death Company outpost of some sort?

flip over a base and fill it with GS, slather on olive oil ( or your lube of choice) and press in your master...should leave you with a fairly nice mould.

Thanks Blackhand!
Well, I have been working hard at numerous school projects but find myself sitting at my desk with a paintbrush in hand. The next day, two more termies painted up and a 600 word essay complete. Not bad
Termie number one with a salvaged space hulk flamer.
*NOTE- This termie above was actually painted without Blood Red paint, the basis of all my other maines. He may look a little dull but I shall have to mix a brighter red to add on to the armour (or invest in some new paints )
Termie number two-Battle-Brother Paulo
And for your viewing enjoyment, here is the group shot of all the finished AoBR Terminators. It just goes to show that with a bit of imagination and an nice big bitz box the possibilities that every miniature has.
Automatically Appended Next Post: BTW, where would a good place to purchase Terminator size bases be? I am thinking Ebay must be the best spot.

Great job with the rust powders! They are so much fun to work with. Also your Space Hulk termies good sweet, I can't really see what your saying about the red though. I guess we are our own worst critics.
Keep up the great work,

Thanks marty! You have reminded me to finish that diorama. Oh, and that has also reminded me to finish the crashed valk. All I need is some proper sand which seems to be lacking despite living one minute away from the beach (it could be something to do with the 10cm of snow that we are getting )

After deciding that I needed a break from painting 40k, I dug out this OOP Rackham model that has been lying around for some time. The detail on the model was incredible! There are necklaces, bones and human fingers scattered all around him. The rocks were my own idea as the rock on the bottom was supposed to go on his back but I changed it for some scenery instead. As you can probably tell, I am not going to be moving this model around too much, the rocks are a little wobbly! View from the back. And finally, a close-up od the staff that is causing all the mayhem Ta ta for now!

I am not really sure, some arcane magical symbol I presume. Does the glow look good on the rock? I was unsure if I should keep it or not.
