I would like to try and find better than retail cost on these.

I quickly see those Storm Troopers, which look incredible, being used for counts as male SoB armies. It's actually something I've been considering. Hope those come out soon.

Not to go OT, but why? The only attraction of the list is the fact that its Nuns w/ Guns, otherwise its just guard with fancy armor.

I don't feel like spending over a grand on metal models, and I don't really care about nuns with guns. I like the idea of an elite IG army, or separatist faction that is fighting against imperial influence. They had something like it in the Horus heresy series. Just dudes in power armor who had working stc machines.

Kriegsmarines look much better with the backpacks and shoulder pads, though the helmet still seems...thin and low-tech?

Saddledrum mag on the MG looks odd as an ovoid rather than a cylinder or frustrum.

Grenade launcher on the SMG is too large, and its resemblance to the M203 muddies the Eisenkern design theme. It would be more appropriate on the Republic troops. (Looking through the blog, there's a similar problem with the half-panzerfaust half-RPG rocket launcher.) A better grenade launcher would be the one found on the MP5 here, which also looks vaguely like a gripless WWII German flaregun. Supporting hand should be moved under the launcher; grabbing the magazine (as opposed to the part of the receiver where it enters, as intended on the MP40) would cause jams.

Big clumsy rear tripod leg should be replaced with a pair of thinner legs and the gunner moved to kneel or sit (possibly on a spare ammo crate) between them. Something like this, say. Currently he can't properly aim nor turn the weapon - which is perhaps just as well as recoil would tip the thing over if it wasn't aimed straight ahead.

Question for Dreamforge: As I've only seen pictures of a 15mm Crusader Leviathan, is there any intention of releasing the Mortis Leviathan in 15mm?

I think this is funny, since a goal of modern helmet design is to not just make them stronger but lighter and thinner. For example there is a company that has developed a nanoparticle laced aluminum alloy that is lighter, and at thinner wall thicknesses than current helmets capable of stopping .50cal rounds, this company developed it with express purpose of manufacturing helmets. Just saying thinness and the lack of apparent advancements can in themselves be the advancement. In fairness, it might not make the aesthetic destinction necessary to a tabletop game.

The drums on the SAW are round, there is a housing that covers it with another shape... its more a design decision.

The grenade launcher is a bit too much like an M203. I like your reference, but unfortunately I went to print with the current one.... Unless it looks funky in the print I will leave it as is. same problem with the hand gripping the magazine :(

Lolz... your right about the legs on the cannon I need to switch that up and reverse the leg position. I was thinking about the wheeled AT guns, they use a long leg center mounted, but the carriage moves with the gun rather than rotating on a pivot. Good catch!

Hello guys I thought I might inform everyone that apparently my friend bought me the crusader model as a present and is being pro painted by a golden demon finalist (won a 3rd I believe)

Anyway I am uber mega happy about it and will post the picture here when its finally finnished. Its gonna be my GK titan. However, please remember that it will require a long time for it to be painted.

I don't think I am gonna get any progress pictures because its meant to be a secret gift.

I don't know man, you might piss off Germany even more by demonizing their past with sci-fi troops that spoof- Wait, was that an actual panzerfaust I just saw there? If that boxed set even includes just one launcher without any hands or handgrips attached I'll buy a million of those boxes, those soldiers will make for perfect generic evil space empire soldiers.

In fairness, I'm using WWII Germans as more of a yardstick than most people would. And I am being rather picky; I have to be with designs this good! I only hit NoseGoblin because I love him. Or something. There were sparkles involved.

I don't think it's even being built I know it got the base coat silver and still in bits I will try to beg for pictures.

No, and its not just any friend we are very good friends you can say. Anyway, by the end "apparently" its gonna be converted with lots of extra stuff.

I asked for a free hand drawing of siege of terra but not sure if that will get done

Very interested in these new troopers, concept art is all very good but a 3D rendering beats it every time! The heavy weapon team looks fab, you seem to have achieved excellent proportioning, something most miniature companies fail badly at!
