lol, my brother did a similiar thing where he killed a land speeder and exploded and killed a terminator, but yours is MUCH more points, that would be rough

I've seen a vindicator shell scatter onto my freinds terminators killing (I think) 6.

Confused

One 6-man squad of Fire Warriors are ninjas. So far, in 11 rounds of CC they've killed:
-3 Tyranid Warriors
-9 Termagaunts
-6 Hormagaunts
-6 basic Marines
-4 Chaos Marines
-Doom of Malan'tai
-a Daemon Prince of Khorne
And they've only been swept once. Of course, they've been wiped out 3 times.

What help is S5 against AV12? Now if you exposed your dread's rear armor for no good reason that is legitimately stupid.

unless they had EMP grenades they couldn't have damaged the Dred. you must be Str6 to even glance AV12. EMP grenades could do it, but they need 6s to hit and only get one attack each.

It'd be at toss up between two for me... amazingly both worked, but that was sheer dumb luck.

One would be last game, where I parked a devilfish with fire warriors in the middle of a road just to force the two units of termagants to use the buildings instead, so I could reposition enough to kill them next turn. Completely forgot that what was synapsing them was a zoanthrope...

And a while ago with my guard a unit of Ymgarl genestealers decided to try to bust one of my Leman Russ' in CC. So I shot them off. With the other Leman Russ. Thankfully it only shook the other tank and killed all of the genestealers XD

Walkers are always hit on the front armor in close combat. The Ethereal's honor blade should have bounced right off with no chance whatsoever of accomplishing anything.

First game ever with daemons, deepstruck right in front of my opponent's lines, no cover or anything. Half the army mishapped, the other half was shot down by bolters. I still managed to pull out a draw with my only model left being Skarbrand with 1 wound.

No, immobilized walkers are still hit on front armor. Immoblizing a walker reduces its attacks by 1 and lets models attacking with grenades roll using the WS chart instead of needing 6s.

Got a new one ... Friend want me to add 65pts so he could squeeze in some kanz... Friendly game so i said yes and took ...

Inquisitor with power armour and 2x daemon weapons I rolled 9,4 and 6,11. He just would not die I charge a squad of orks kill 3 (I now have 6 wounds) every one in the mob that can targets me and ether fails to wound me, I save it with my armour save or FnP save. Then the nob hits me I loose 2 wounds ... I'm still up by 1 wound. I ended the game with 9 wounds ...

and before any one says I'll try this ... the next game i roll 7,8 and a 7,10 ... this time he just ran straight out of cover and was shot to death.

two come to mind:

1. charged C'tan with Schaefer and co. Only then did I do the math and realize I couldn't wound the god. Doh!

2. Used all pulse carbines on Tau firewarriors to try and get some cc out of them. Again Doh! Pinning doesn't really work. Got my but kicked by grots

Spent too many points upgrading Tau Crisis suits and Hammerheads. Had no points for anything else. Ork mob outnumbered my tau fifteen to one. The ratio between tau and ork on the board was depressing. I'm sure anyone can do the math there. What made things worse was a truck full of meganobs managed to move flat out through fire from two hammerheads while a team of Ork commandos managed to sneak up behind and lock my commander in combat, followed by pathfinders, followed by splitting open one of my tanks like it was a can of soup. Absolute tactical nightmare.

and likely Illegal,

you can't position any blast templates where they are over friendly models. they can scatter onto your own models by accident though.

knew it was to good to be true...i knew you could scatter onto your own stuff, just thought you might be able to shoot at an enemy unit and disregard the fact that it is by an allied one...guess you cant

Oh it did have to scatter it just scattered onto all of them and the tank, as I'd hoped XD

It was a really big gamble on whether it would scatter the 'right' way or simply miss, and whether it would do lasting damage to my vehicle and of course, whether I would actually kill anything with it.

I once used Gate of Infinity with a Librarian and a Sternguard unit, into an area that they had exactly enough room to land in. I only scattered two inches, but it was enough to wipe the squad first turn.

I've had 3 of those

1. Seized Intiative with an Alpha Strike list.
2. Rolled Double 1 for my Morale Check for my Squad Hellions that lost combat by 9 >.<
3. Those Hellions Proceded to pass their hit and run, ran off, and then assualt the rear armour of the enemy Leman Russ, stopping a massive amount of damage from coming in

I got some good Tau related ones. All at the start of 5th gen when I just started Tau and ran Gunline

The ones that worked

Charged Pathfinders into a Dreadnaught, No Pathfinder died, Dread was EMPed to death
Charged a Crisis Suit squad into a squad of Flayed Ones, 2 turns later, the game ends with no Deaths for either side.
Kroot Charging into Farsight+7 other suits (For the Greater Good! The kroot slowed farsight's advance enough for him to die a painful death from 9 TL Railguns [Yay would allocation])
