I belive taking vulcan as a HQ choice makes all the army's flamer/melta guns TL

**The dude with Grey Knight**

Has to be when I ran a grey Knight into a unit of 3 Carnifexs to see if I could kill one. I killed 2 (3 attacks on the charge with a Justicar). I was pleased that my stupid tactic worked, but Jessica the Justicar suffered a broken neck, spine, legs, arms and a lack of a head

I once deep striked a squad of ten terminators into a 6'' wide valley... and then tried again with the next squad after the first became part of the rocks due to scatter...

The second squad failed too

Difficult terrain does not cause mishaps.

Played my brother's BA, I was IG. Between a Vanq (with Pask), Marbo and 2 suicide stormtrooper squads i killed his stormraven, sang guard, Mephiston and his DS unit of vanguard vets. I then forgot it was an objective mission and waited for his 2 assault squads to come out from behind their building (where their objective was) for 3 turns, only realising in the final turn I had to advance...Could have won but I fluffed it lol

Also, charging into a death company squad with my 4 scoring units (because thats all I had left)...ouch

First game, i thought i was a tactical genius, using Necron Lord with Veil and 20 warriors to DS away from rapidly encroaching GK Deathstar.

"Ha ha, I will jump to your side of the board and glance your dreadnought to death!"

Then i scattered off the table.

Played against my friends Tau during my second game ever. He thought it was a good idea to march his fire warriors in a block, redcoat formation style. my obliterator got a direct a direct hit with a plasma cannon and vaporized nine of the blue buggers, wiping them out. I LOL'd

Same game, I charged a seven man squad of fire warriors with my lone survivor khorne berzerker. Killed three on the charge, they failed morale and he swept the last four.

Ard Boyz Semi Finals 2010:
Turn 2 ( i guess outta boredom) charged a 5 man Dire Avenger squad into the Deceiver to try and get the lucky "reverse force wep" strike. Of course bloody feathered helms were all that remained. Luckily I was able to phase his 2500 pt list out at the top of 3, but losing those Dire Avengers cost me from a Massacre down to a Major Victory( It was an objective game.)

Was playing against a deep strike/ scout list of vanilla marines that was FULL of melta bombs and decided "what the heck, im not going to put any of my 14 tanks in reserve and will just flood the field with armor. My opponent then proceeded to melta bomb my army out of existence and i got tabled, losing well over half of my army by bottom of turn 2...

I forgot my paladins weren't troops, (I was playing with a GK Grand Master and had given two other units scoring). While my Paladins valiantly spread out far enough to hold two objectives, my opponent simply walked up to the other three objectives to win the day.

You are forgetting that Matt Ward took the GK, and turned them from an anti-daemon force to an anti-whatever the hell is on the other side of the board force.

To be fair, whenever any army gets updated it always needs "just a few tweaks," but that doesn't reinvigorate an army, just makes it playable (mainly, you don't have anything new to market, so it's good for old players but doesn't really help create new). Although taking things out always causes problems.

Hi guys, new to dakka... and to 40k actually

So on topic now:

Assaulted with an outflanking 10 kroot- 5 hound unit to a 3 man noise marine unit.
That is almost 40 (couple of them outa reach) WS4 S4 attacks...0 marines dead

Noise marines kill 2, I fail moral, he wins I-test (sry cannot remember the name)...dead kroots

Never underestimate bad dices and 3+ save
