Reasonably long-time 40K-er, I started not long before 2nd edition went the way of the Dodo.
Currently, I play Witch Hunters, Chaos Space Marines, and Orks. I also have some IG and Daemons which I occasionally ally with one of my armies for Apocalypse.
We play a fair bit of that, Apocalypse that is, around here. We've played up to 10,000-points-per-side. I played one side with Orks. Yep, 10,000 points.
Sadly, 40K is nearly dead around home, only one other regular player. Three of us went to Louisville, KY to play in 'Ard Boyz this year. Your's truly came . . . fourth!
The Witch Hunters I hope to photograph and post, most of the Chaos I bought and the Orks will likely never be completely painted.
