Hi all,

First of all, I've been a lurker for a while. Mostly because I had found a link from elsewhere to Sersi's Slaaneshi Themed Daemon Army and had been checking it every so often over the past several months. Also looking at other topics on the boards as well and realizing that although there is an abundance of heresy occurring on the boards, everyone seems very constructive with criticism and in boosting the creative approach to the games. I finally decided to create an account on here and maybe participate in the community a bit.

About me,... Well, I've owned minis from GW since about 1996, around that point I painted some truly horrendous looking space marines, paint too thick (didn't have right brushes), and no real ability to blend, so yeah, bad. My stuff got boxed for a while as I moved a bit, then went to college eventually. About 2 years ago I picked up a whole heap of 40k minis through a craigslist ad, and instead of painting or playing with them, I took one mini from that collection, looks to be a fantasy battles chaos sorcerer or something along those lines (heres an old WIP shot before it was finished) Decided to take my sweet time and play with a little bit of green stuff and see what I could do with it, came out pretty neat if I do say so myself. After that, busy with work and career moving, and didn't paint any minis til recently. Got a commission to paint the "Assault on Black Reach" set, and in between stripping mold lines and priming I painted a set of three sisters of battle which look pretty cool (pics when I have a functioning camera again)

Anywho, I ramble,.... but the point of the story is, I'm looking to get back into painting, maybe at some point play a game with my own army instead of store ones. After the Black Reach project is done I'll be painting a boxed set of sisters repentia, and then some grey nights and grey knight termis. At some point I'll pick up some simple green and strip those old minis and probably convert to traitor legion or something.

In the mean time however, I'm an illustrator / painter by trade, my work is viewable through the link in my profile. I'm currently accepting private commissions, dont know who is interested in personalized artwork of their characters and or hero characters, but if so PM me, probably post up a more detailed amount of info in the OT forum once I've gotten a little more familiarity under my belt.

Oh and one last thing, I may like the witch hunter and daemon hunter armies, but at heart I'm a big fan of the chaos armies and will probably be doing a Slaanesh army at some point.

I'm doing well, taking a break from sketching to check out some posts on the boards.

Thanks on the sorc, the finished piece came out a bit better, cleaned up the edges on the robe and did some arcane symbols in it.

SoB avatar isn't mine, I was trying to use another image but the board wasn't accepting it but kept locking up when I tried to not select the file so I pulled up a quick pic to use.

My stuff is visible in the link in my profile. I keep busy with the art. Looking forward to adding more images to the site, first priority is to get my camera fixed. Til then, I'll be browsing and posting randomly.
