Hello there DakkaDakka,
My name is Nick and I am an oldschoolish 40k player. I played at the begining of 3rd Edition back in the day (Blood Angels) and ended up falling out of the game due to GF's, School, and eventually going into the Marine Corps.
Many moons later i'm in a local game shop playing some Magic for good ole sake, when I see a box called Sanguinary Guard and it rekindled my drive to play 40k again. So here I am back in the fray. I stumbled upon this thread when looking for painting tips because my original marines were god awful.
Since being back i've painted up 3 squads of BA's and I plan on posting them up here when I get a chance. It's amazing what 0 experience and practice but hours of reading tutorials will do for your skill.
Along with me i've draged my older and younger brother back into it (Imp Guard and CSM).
Looking forward to playing again, and if you are in the Minnesota Area, maybe we can set up some games some times. We have an abundance of gaming stores in the Twin cities and surrounding areas!
