Hey guys, I finally managed to sign up on this great messageboard. If you're browsing Warseer a lot you might recognize me; I'm pretty active over there. I browse Dakka from time to time but now I want to get into the community a bit more, share some opinions and stuff.
For my biography: I started building and painting model kits about 15 years ago but, being a huge fan of fantasy boardgames (especially HeroQuest and Space Crusade), I soon dabbled into painting fantasy miniatures and also into tabletop wargaming. For now, I have lost count on how many miniatures I have lying around here but in the past four years, I more and more got into commission painting and this is also the mainstray of my miniature painting these days but I also try to have the occational game. I'm playing mostly
40k at a local club but I also regularly try to get my gaming friends into playing specialist games (failed at doing so so far though). I used to play
WHFB as well, got a Dark Elves army I built in 2005 to 2007 if I remember correctly but I have yet to play with the new army book. As for
40k, my armies are Imperial Guard (lots thereof), Orks (1st and 2nd edition minis) and Sisters of Battle. I also played a fair bit of Gorkamorka, Necromunda and
BFG, which are all great games, but I haven't played them in a long time.
I will try to post many pictures for you to see, judge and hopefully enjoy as well as sharing my ideas and opinions with you. I always like to learn new things so please comment on my paintjobs.
