Hiya!
I'm a refugee from Warseer. I mainly lurked there really (under: GGM007 {my BF2142 name, this current name is my Steam ID}) but got tired of flaming and whining which doesn't happen here right? 
MeanGreenStompa has been hassling me for ages to join him on here and yesterday I met Alex of 'Cut & Thrust Wargaming' fame at his open day.
I'm looking forward to playing games there and meeting more of the Bristolian *ahem* 'massive'.
I mostly has 40k MarEENz (sorry), about 4-5k ish but have a fledgling Guard army on the way (1.5K)
I have about 5k of Wood Elves but haven't played them in ages, 8Ed may have killed them off anyway...
I have played loads/most other GW games over the years, favourites being Space Hulk (1st Ed) and Space Marine (Epic 2nd Ed).
I personally like balanced, no-special characters, non-tourney type lists/games but I wont judge you if you're different.

The consensus is generally that the atmosphere is much more relaxed here, but I don't go to Warseer so can't say personally.

McStab is an old friend of mine! (yes mate, that means about half to 3/4s of dakka are now plotting your downfall!)
The flaming and whining here is of a superior nature, both in tone and vitriol. Some of it is from my own 'special recipe'.
Oh and Ross from PZ is here as 'CURNOW' btw. Friend him n stuff. And take a look in P&M at his veteran ImpG with greenstuff goodnessss.
