Noob here.
Playing an old 3rd edition Space Marine army. Some Tau, Orks and Dark Eldar, as well.
Will be lurking in threads for terrain ideas, rules clarifications, and any mojo for better rolls.

Yeah, an old friend introduced me to the game back in '01. I purchased a lot of it back then which ended up in storage. I've since dusted them off and started painting again. I hate the look of the old Predators and Vindicator, but love the old scouts v. the newer ones.

Welcome.  Dakka's a great place, overflowing with talent and ideas. It sounds like you've already got some cool ideas and interesting opinions in regards to your army, maybe you should head over to the painting & modelling forum to discuss the visual theme, or the 40k "fluff" forum to talk about your armys background. Also, the gallery is sure to provide inspiration for your army.
