Okay so me and my friend were playing a small 1000 pt game and I happened to have 'The Masque' which his Logan Grimnar decided to charge.

I do believe the dice gods hate me. One I game I killed my opponents hammerheads twice over but everytime I scored a penetrating hit and rolled a 5 or 6 he made his stupid disruption pod save.

don't you roll for damage after the save?

The gods of chance are cruel indeed. I cant make a 3+ armor save to save my life. But some how my shoota boys can fire with pin point acuracy. I have had games where they were shooting upwards of a 65% hit rate.

SM MM couldn't hit a trukk with the sarges signum...but the PC could.

Yeah, like the time I shot 100 shots at a single terminator and it didn't die, or the time I shot my entire army at a land raider for several turns and it was only lightly bothered. The dice gods also really, really hate my artillery.

I've noticed that the dice gods have hated me as of late with last turn rolls. I've had several games now where wins turned into ties or losses due to the last turn die roll going one way or the other.

Yes. One time, a guy fired a squad of guard las guns at my space wolves. He rolled for six wounds and I had five fail armor saves.

I also failed three tough checks in a row on my TWC against a daemon player.

recently failed to pentrate an ork truck with 2 russes shooting it 2 turns in a row. how ever I rolled my sixes i needed in a leadership test in the same game

I had a single terminator survive about 4 assault phases against ~20 slugga boyz before he went down (Dice gods were cruel to Orks that day!)

My friend decided to give his fire warriors emp granaded and was then tank shokked by a hell hound and that one guy threw his emp granade got a 6 so penatrated and then a 5 wreking the tank.

The latest game i played with a friend actually had amazing dice rolls for both of us. It was 1000pts and it seemed like every turn, one of our units would completely annihilate each other: First, his 1k sons destroyed a 10 man squad of my DA. Then, my howling banshees destroyed his greater daemon. Then his 1k sons wipe out my banshees. And to finish it off, a 10 man squad of my Striking Scorpions killed everything else he had left on the table in 2 turns.

My farseers each took a perils of a warp in one turn. Killing one Farseer and wounding the other.

On the weekend I had a group of 6 diversified Nobz including Painboy multi assault a Hammerhead (2 Powerklaws) and a unit of 10 Fire Warriors. I roll the Painboy first, managing to inflict a wound. I then roll 14 dice for 2 x Slugga/Choppas and 1 x Big Choppa - only a single 3+! I ended up only killing a single Firewarrior! (And weapon destroying and shaking the Hammerhead with 8 PK ST9 attacks!) I was concerned that, with a good roll, the Firewarriors might actually beat my Nobz! (They didn't)
