Never played these guys. I've seen them used, but never seen them do to much. But I have seen them do exceptionally well as well.
What do y'all think about these guys? Are they a threat or not worth it?

I dont think normal Ork bikers are efficient at all , the bike makes them expensive yet they still cant hit particularly hard.
Nobs on the other hand utilities it better.

I don't think they are strong enough to be the core of your army, but I was planning to add them to my horde to give it a faster element. I think Wazdakka is a must for using them, as without the ability to take objectives last minute they are less effective than Deffkoptas. The list is:
Wazdakka Gutsmek 180
Big Mek, KFF, Kustom Megablasta, BP, 105
15 Tank Bustas, 3 Bomb Squigs, 180
30 Slugga Boyz, Nob, PK, BP, 220
30 Slugga Boyz, Nob, PK, BP, 220
30 Slugga Boyz, Nob, PK, BP, 220
5 Warbikers, Nob, PK, BP, 165
3 Deffkoptas, TL-Rokkits, 135
1500
Wazdakka runs solo and hunts tanks, the Warbikers find soft targets, the Deffkoptas hunt tanks, the Tank Bustas hunt tanks and the Sluggas clean up whatever isn't a tank.

They can be OK for tying up enemy heavy fire and screening low-riding tanks (usually from old editions), but at strike forces go they're not the scariest.

Nob bikers counts as troops
30-50 warbikes that count as troops, number of warbikes squads and nobs depends on number of nob bikers
Deffkoptas
Don't see anything wrong with that list. It would have problems against some lists, against others it would do great. It's actually got a serious amount of Dakka because every warbike has the same firepower as an IG heavy bolter TL BS2>BS3 and AP4 isn't a big deal.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

It's not bad, far from optimal though. You'll still suffer from leadership problems and my god would this be expensive to buy.

I've used a unit six of them lately and they aren't that good against space marines, but the last time I used them against IG, they killed two squads and a command squad with a shoot/assault one two punch, and at the end of the battle, I still had three of them left! They are definitely a glass hammer despite the 4+ cover save, but at least their turbo boost allows you to keep them back on the first turn so you can wait for a juicy target to present itself. I'm planning on upping their numbers to 9 to see what they accomplish next time.

Pretty much. The minimum 3 warbikers for the slot with one upgraded to a nob with a powerklaw and a boss pole. 115 points
If I was forced to take warbikers at gunpoint, this is how I would take them. The poor ld punishes you for any large investment and the only thing you really want out of it is the powerklaw.

I'm planning my Ork army, and I see no use in Nob Bikers. Coming 50 points basic, they just cost too many points to take in enough numbers. But regular Warbikers could be pretty useful, especially if you take them as Troops via Wazdakka. They can be used to quickly take objectives, to plough through weaker enemy squads and even to hold up tougher ones.

Mine usually seem to die quickly. I do like them against Tau. I have run them as a 'PK delivery system' for my Warboss (also on a bike), and by themselves. I have had more experience destroying my enemy's bikes by shooting them 'til they run, or just assaulting them with a big mob from a BW. They are just so expensive (compared to other Ork choices)!
I have been 'stocking up' on a bunch of late-model bikes and I will be painting/fixing them up and trying to run them in greater numbers --- maybe a wing for a speedy truck/buggy army. I am thinking of 2-3 squads w/ Wazdakka to make them trops - and keeping them out of CC.
Anyone else with good experiences?

Nob bikers, properly kitted, are an expensive but extremely resilient group. I've run a Warboss + Bike along with 3 nobs + bikes w/ painboy.
T4(5), 4+Armor, 5+ Inv., 4+ Cover with a 4+ FNP, and 2 wounds each. Now, one of my regular opponents is an Eldar player, and I've seen him sink 3 or 4 units worth of shooting into them, only losing a single wound. With the ability to load out each nob almost individually, you can really move the wounds around, although that might earn you a punch on the nose if pushed too far.
Honestly though, they're a tough unit who (outside of Apoc) will generally get 2 different saves against any wounds coming their way. With 2 wounds per model, that's a lot of shooting required to truly gun them down.

I tend not to use bikers at all, if I can help it. Not that I have a problem with them as a unit, but a gang of Boyz in a trukk works better for my playing style. As a unit, they're all right, but it's best not to rely on them, as they are fairly easy to deal with by a canny opponent. Nob bikers are better, but also expensive, due to their hardness. I'd go with trukk or battlewagon based units.

IIRC, with the warboss they weigh in at about 400 points for 4 models. Expensive? Oh yeah. Effective? Invariably. If nothing else, the amount of fire they draw away from my Ork Boy Delivery Systems (a.k.a., trucks and battlewagons) is insane.
edit: You could reduce the cost by 20 points by not fully kitting the Warboss. I run mine with Bosspole and Attack Squig, and I think that also includes a grot orderly to reroll a FnP roll (usually on the Warboss).

The 'bike upgrade' costs more than three times the price of the ork you're giving it to ... giving a bike to an ork boy effectively quadruples the cost of the boy. And the upgrade is nowhere near making him 4x better.
Large groups of bikes are better replaced by trukkloads of boys, while small warbiker units (powerclaw suicide squad) are made obsolete by deffcopta's, they get there on turn 1 and don't have any problem assaulting a target that isn't on ground level.
