1st ever forum i've signed up 2 (scary when your 24 lol) been in the hobby since i was about 6 but had a large break though, then come back just as 5th edition was released.
i used to play genestealer cult (yes cult not brood  ) when i came back to the hobby me and my brother bought the assault on black reach boxset (we bought another 3 weeks later  )
because he used to play whfb as empire he insisted he was not humans again (and the fact the orks primative and brutal style suited his whfb history)
and so i made "The 'M' Chapter" they play rulewise as ultrasmurfs (coz of 5th ed codex) but in my mind they are the forgotten brothers of the 2nd leigon, sworn protecters of mankind.

I agree with Poipo. I'm part of of CMoN and Dakka- this place, no joke, is MUCH better. The people are knowledgeable and nice about it (haven't encountered anyone/anything negative for the few months I've been here)...
And there's a big focus on GW games here too! Welcome to the club!

Welcome and dont worry about delays, im older :O)
For gloss varnish, try hitting it with matt over the top, will dull it down. I find gloss really removes any highlighting you have done.
