Hi all

Firstly I must admit, I've been stalking you all....well maybe not all, but certainly some as I've been lurking on these Forums for a few months getting ideas and trying to get my army together before venturing into the big unknown...the dakka dakka forum lol

Ok, I've read quite a few post and replies to various topics, and tried taking it all into consideration while I've been modelling, painting and battling with my marines, but now I'm getting to the point where my Font of Knowledge (my brother) isn't an ideal source of advice or info, for example I asked him if the Chapter name 'Death Jesters' would be ok to use (this is before I did any proper research) and he said 'yeah cool sounds good', only to find a few weeks later a squad of Eldar Heavy Weapon Specialists uncanningly called the same thing....out went that idea. So now I'm stuck with a 'work in progress' kinda name 'Emperor's Jesters'.

I've tried writing some 'fluff' or something about them but it all sounds pokey, so when I get some pics on here of my army I might commit social suicide and post the writings up as well.

Anyway I've wandered off track, this is far from being just a simple hello and more into a 9 hour epic movie of some sorta Sunday afternoon film everyone sleeps through.

I've been reading from the Black Library for about a year, played all the DoW's on PC, which all lead me to the tabletop madness of 40k (been assigned with my army for about 5-6months now)

So that's me, hopefully in the next week or so I can get some pics of my army up and be dazzle you with how shockingly bad they are lol

I've posted some (admittedly rough quality) pics of the Emperor's Jesters on the Painting/Modelling board, under a title like ' What happens when you don't think with a paint brush in hand', please check them out, I'd be interested in opinions and suggestions of improvement.
