Well im new to the table top games my friend got me into warhammer40k over the summer. I'm starting a ork army and already have AOBR and the battleforce and hope to span the collection soon, but im a poor high school senior.

Hey, fellow n00b! Welcome to DakkaDakka and the world of Warhammer! 
I can't offer you much in advice, since I'm the shining example of a "greenhorn", but I can pass on advice from my brother. He's an Ork player and I've only heard him say a million and two times: "You can NEVER have enough Boyz!". From my (limited) understanding, they're a bit of a swarm army, so lots of Boyz seem to make life easier. *shrug* But, like I said, I'm new, so take my advice at face value! 
Either way, enjoy your gaming and best of luck!

This is true. I have over 100 boys, and can still play them in a 750 game!
