Remembered I had a gift card for one of the local art supplies stores, so I grabbed myself a few brushes as you can never have too many.

Picked up my HH Mechanicum heavy support bundle box. I suppose my last preorder from the FLGS for a while, as I was booted from the club for not being a 40k player and no longer get discounts.

Picked up a Devilfish to finish off my Tau collection and a Grey Knights Strike Squad. Pretty impressed with the kit, and I'm gonna kitbash a multimelta for my marines out of some of the bits. I wanted that Dawn of War feel where they are an elite squad for my Marines rather than doing a whole army, and I wanted to get them while they're still the proper size to fit with my 2e-6e marines.

Ended up getting the new tempestus aquilon box, the death korp engineers, the 'free' warhammer plus inquisitor, and the resin bretonnian foot knight (Mainly just to have him and add him to the foot knights and make the unit look so much better!)

Scored this lovely old Chaos Sorcerer from eBay. Can't wait to paint him, the last of these I got was a joy to paint.

My 3rd Snarlboss on War-Wheela kit for my Gitmob army.

1 built as the Snarlboss, 1 built as the Shaman option, and I had the itch to make a 2nd shaman version of it, but didn't want to make the same one that came in the box. This 3rd one is converted using a slightly modified WHFB plastic goblin shaman on some leftover bits from a Mega-gargant (King Brodd's skull helmet in place of this chariots kits giant skull).

I don't think I spent more than $40 for all this. I wish I'd bought a few more of the painted Hordes Circle minis that were on offer. Warmachine and Hordes were being sold for a fraction of retail.  

-Hordes: Circle Orboros. Two plastic warbeasts magnetized for all options! Also, Metal Human and Lycanthrope versions of another Hordes Character. Going to paint over the green parts with red and bone, give them a wash and highlinght and have some more chaos beast folks for my KOW and AoF armies.

BattleTech - A Game or Armoured Combat. Finally dipping my toes in the water.

Rumble Slam rules (My mate brought the starter and a ring from TT Combat stand so I just grabbed a team).

Couple of metallic paints, a VC necromancer because it never hurts to have a spare. And I needed some new sidecutters, so I treated myself to a pair of Godhand PN120's that were on sale.

Just ordered a pair of Cargo 8 Haulers from Necromunda.
Since I can't field more than 3 Basilisks in 40k anymore? I'm going use two of my now "spares" & convert these Haulers into Earthshaker Gun Carriages - when I'm finished they'll resemble Italian Lancia 3Ro's from WWII.

Someone in town was selling one of the old Forgeworld Dreadnoughts they made for all the Traitor Legions.

Particularly a Word Bearer's one that came with a Las and Plasma Cannon.


I am so happy you guys, the models were popular when I first got into the hobby, but I never really had the means to secure one myself. Now it rests beside my Oop Contemptor Dreadnought and my Helbrutes.

A while back I dumped out my extensive bits collection, organized it, and figured out that with all the extra arms, heads, weapons, etc., that if I had some more bodies and bases I could make not only whole squads, but WHOLE ARMIES of 40k figures.

So, PLA for the printer, I bag of bases, glue, epoxy, and a few bits-order parts to even things out.

Some more terrain bitz, mostly for our D&D game.

The FLGS Memorial Weekend Clearance sale got me.

Preparing for the new Space Wolves release I got out my SW army and restructured. The Thunderwolf characters are now a TW cavalry unit. My cyberwolves are all now one unit as part of the new Headtakers. 30 Bloodclaws and 20 Grey Hunters are now 40 Bloodclaws, 20 Tactical Marines, and 3 Lieutenants.

To achieve this, after a bits-box shakeout, I 3D printed 17 bodies (Primaris and firstborn) and spent about $40 on bits from ebay.
