Welcome to dakka! Always good to have another Guardsman for the meat grinder, eh? But yes. Painting and modelling forum is where to go for that. Here you'll just get a warm warm welcome.
But, I (being the crappy painter that I am) will give out just general (probably crappy) advice....I basecoat the whole thing Knarloc Green, give it a little dry brushing with boltgun metal to make it seem a bit more metallic, though I have seen someone mix the two to get a really nice metallic color....but in any case, I then paint the antenna boltgun, run a little undercoat black around the antenna bases, then pick out the details with whatever color I feel like that day. Sometimes, the little wires are red, or blue, or a mix! You get to choose!
