Ok so I finally got around to an another update. Lots of new vehicles. Didn't really get any work in progress shots so everything's already painted. I built a second battlewagon. I carved up the land raider crusader from my daemonhunters army just to make it. It doesn't get much orkier than that. I added 5 magnetized hardpoints to the battlewagon so I'll have some choice of how to arm it. I picked up some buggies/wartraks/trukks off of 36Dice and and magnetized them up too. I love the old school trukks. They're a bit small so I only intend on using them for 3 strong nob squads. I built my last deffkopta and decided to go the twin linked kmb route just for the hell of it. All I'm looking to add now are more boyz, possibly a few of the newer trukks, some more lootas, a few more burnas and definitely more nobz. I also wanna build about 3 lobba's just for the hell of it. I really wanna keep my lists as mechanized and not too heavy on the big boyz squads. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Kustom mega blasta = Plasma weapon. Too technical for Orks you say?

Seriously cool stuff. I love how your BW are just loaded down with junk EVERYWHERE, but it doesnt look cluttered or to busy. Nice work man. My only question is, why are the legs crooked in like that on the mega dred?

Pretty doesn't begin to describe it.

I'm especially impressed at the sheer volume of kitbashing. 1980's imperial guard heavy weapons shields next to chaos defiler bits and all making it work on a single ork vehicle? Nicely done.

The legs are on an angle because I didn't want to cut the defiler leg that supports the whole frame, it would have weakened it too much. My theory is he crab walks.

For the skin I used snot green, then a thick wash of bedab black and finally goblin green highlight. I call it the watermelon look.

Some great conversions: The trike and the wagons in particular.

The paint work is also striking.

Not many people seem to like the old school eavy metal look. I'm quite fond of it myself.

All your stuff looks fantastic, man. However, that rhino conversion is by far my favorite piece. It doesn't look stolen as much as it looks Orky! Looks like a machine straight out of the mek-shop. Bravo, dude. You're making me regret selling my Orks.

I started with tin bitz, dried the large drybrush and just sorta stabbed at the model with it to create a random pattern. Then did the same with dwarf bronze, then some ogryn flesh wash and a bit of bedab black wash.
