Lol, here I was imagining you with brushes which had their handle turned 90° ... You idea is definitely more feasible. Thanks for the tip, and excellent work as always! Love the little gothic arch on the top platform

Amazing! Although, how do you get paint to stick and not peel off of the granny grating when flexed?

Curiously I own some brushes that are meant to work exactly in such confined spaces...and indeed they are bent on purpose...

What's so cool with cam's way tho is that I am not even able to apply real wallpaper...so now imagine wriggling something so small in a mere small tube... and we are not allowed to call him a wizard...

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Also...the ring on the tubes ends are currently my favorite details...with these you literally framed your canvas!

I keep reading Necromunda Scenery as Necromundery. it should probably be necromundancy.

I had some brushes like that once, Vik. Didn't like them.

Yeah, the ring frames are just the thing.

Very modern stairs. Maybe not quite the right look? That granny grating make for perfect scaffold material, eh?

Everything looks so good. And so quickly. Too quickly. I'm growing suspicious. You've been cloned, haven't you? That hospital stay wasn't about any broken bones at all...

Not where I should be

Hi all, thank you for the wonderful comments and feedback.

@ Dave, I use an automotive acrylic plastic primer rattlecan on such items, seems to have brilliant adhesion to the surface, not had any issues yet.

@ Red, I am with you on the stairs have a look below.

OK had an odd couple days, not much done, but here are a bunch of aesthetic shots for you...

Those stairs, agree with Red the design is off I think.

And started on this..

Panelling..

For the plynth..

Thanks for looking and all comments and critique gratefully accepted.

Great job. Cool project.

Ha, that Dr H gets about with his tagging don't he.

Nice skull decor. The 40K designers would be proud.

Not where I should be

Thanks all. Truly flattered and honoured by praise from people I look up to and inspire me.

@Dave, yup will be casting that as soon as supplies arrive.

Point of order here, I would like to say though I have been using the tarp method for a long time, many have done it before and, indeed, have done it much better. Ruglud did an excellent piece a few LoER comps back, with a pallet and crates covered in tarp, same method if memory serves. But I like to put these general ideas out there, again and again for new peeps and to jog the memory of some. Many of my techniques are not original, I really should make more of an effort to cite the origins.

Now pics, was not feeling great today so not much done. Started on this...

And sorted the tarps for the boxes, these are not fixed as yet.

Thank you for looking and stopping by.

Looking great as always Cam. It's great seeing that piece in all it's glory. I like the way you painted the tarps to make them look weathered. Also, I've been going through old LoER comps and enjoying them. I just got to the one where you made bamboo, that was so cool and creative! Awesome that you thought of that, I'm going to have to check if there are that kind of earbuds for sale near me. (It feels funny calling them that, where I'm from it would be cuetip/cotton swab and tooth pick rather than earbud and cocktail stick. Though those names do make a lot of sense)

'Mind The Step' Good one.

I don't think of the denizens of the underhive to be particularly safety conscious.

Impressive. Good size. That Aquila needs some graffiti. Of course your average ganger would tag it.

The graffiti, the detailed interiors, the skulls for the plinth everything is coming together to make an epic piece!

That's really taking it to the next level Cam! I mean, I was impressed by the basic structure, but now your 're really adding to it even more, evocating a dilapidated appartment block in a very 'realistic' way. I love how your attention to detail breathes life into models.

Wow, every piece you add on adds so much character. I should really learn, and I've only been around for some of your latest projects, but it's always the same:

"Ohh wow Cam's new thing is amazing. That looks great! Wonder what he'll do next"

2 days later:
"What? He added that *insert thing* and it looks ten time better! I'd never have thought of that!"

3 hours later:
"How did he do all those amazing things so quickly??!!!"

Not where I should be

Thank you all.

Not a great day today, spent 6 hours back in hospital, one of the internal stitches became infected, ended up with a zit the size of a tennis ball on my leg, went in, they cut it, removed the offending item, and drained it and I am now the happy recipient of a large amount of anti-biotics to be consumed over the next week. The joys. Have to say, amazing service again thank you NHS.

So not much done today ...

Thank you all for your amazing support, thanks for looking.

What a terrific piece, Cam! Very Fritz Lange 'Metropolis' feel to it. Necromunda terrain but with a distinctly unique character.

With the eagle bit, it actually reminds me of the Niagara-Mohawk building in Syracuse, New York State!
