Holy cow! I was so busy admiring the whole thing, I wasn't paying enough attention to the real details. A wonderful piece of terrain and as CommissarKhaine said, very flattering to have been made a part of it.

I'm pretty sure that Great Unclean One will look amazing when it's done.

That Guo is going to be rotten! I like the left skull panel.

That head looks amazing! Did you seriously make it out of that super clay? How did you sculpt and keep such great detail?

The panels. Lose the skulls! Yes that is an exclamation point. Put an aquila in the center of the panel instead, and maybe some sort symbols in the lower corners.

Apart from my dislike for skulls as an aesthetic element, the skulls don't fit the motif of the piece. The aquilas will.

I think you should make a giant Aquila entirely from skulls, just for Red'. Or even better, a giant skull from skulls... and paint it red just to really get his eye twitching

But yeah, he has a good idea of doing some non-skull versions of those panels. It's a good blank canvas to do all kinds of things with.

Looking at the packaging for the super clay, I think I can say what finally happened to Clippy (Y'all remember clippy, no? )p
Looks like he signed his organ donor* card, died, and his eyes were harvested and transplanted into that star shaped entity. Descanse en Paz Clippy, you most hated of Microsoft creations.

Wow! That is perhaps the best Necromunda terrain I've seen - the round pipe tunnels evoke the idea that it is supposed to be taking place basically in a city's basement, the weathering is top notch, and the graphiti looks great, fits the gang theme, and adds tons of interest. LEDs though, that is just showing off. : )

I have no more superlatives to give, just outstanding work in every detail - and this is still WIP - WOW

OK this is for you Vik. Bit sad to be honest but hey....

Take some foam core, and cut out shapes to "layer" a 3D effect.


Stick them together ...and carve to assist the shape.



Then attack it with your hot glue gun, I drag the tip of the gun through the glue to form a texture.


A lick of paint and ...


Hope that helps Vik. Just a little practice and some thought and all sorts of things are possible. can't really claim any originality to this, think the first time I saw it was DM Scotty. It is durable enough, but if you really want it to last more than a few years of hard play, maybe consider casting it in resin.

Had a bit of a downer day today, did not get much done, back at it tomorrow.

Looks fantastic overall, Graffiti, the details, the whole shebang looks amazing, I'd love to have a game with some terrain like this on the table.

The GUO head looks great and I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of it form over time
