Lets say that I put Typhus inside a rhino together with 7 plague marines.
In the shooting phase Typhus can use both hus psycic powers WoC and Nurgles Rot using one of the fire points.
When using WoC do I pit the template from the hatch or anywhere on the hull? I am not allowed to touch my hull so I guess I need to set from the hull, correct?
When using Nurgles rot do I meassure 6" from the hull or the hatch?

Well, typhus is in terminator armor so he cant ride in a rhino.

Template weapons cannot touch any friendly models. So if he could shoot out the fire points of a rhino, it would have to be so that the template did not touch any of the transport, which is impossible from the fire point.

And I want to say Nurgles Rot cannot be cast from inside a transport but i am not sure.

The question about where you measure from is still valid though, where would you measure from if Ty was in a land raider?

From any point of the hull, see the rules for transports.

You measure to or from the transport, if you want to measure to the unit. However i think NR is a PSA (not named as such, but FAQd to be) and as such you need a firepoint to use it - even though it doesnt need LOS.

Hummmm...that is a good question.

NO power in the CSM is stated as being a PSA, there are however a couple that is used instead of firing a weapon and/or counts as a weapon.

For example doombolt, it's stated that it can be used instead of firing a weapon, if passed it counts as a weapon with the given profile.
Nurgles Rot (And lash of submission) can be used instead of firing a weapon, but if passed it simply applies the effect...

If you are firing instead of firing ANOTHER weapon, then what you are using IS a weapon - by definition.

And if it is a psychic power then that makes it a psychic shooting attack.
