I don't know exactly, but I believe its two slanesh DP, or really any psykers with the slanesh power where they have lash of submission or something like that which allows the psyker to move target enemy unit d6 inches in any dirrection i believe. Basically you can move units with heavy weapons so they cant fire, move a unit closer so a combat heavy unit can assault it, move units off of objectives, etc. I don't know exactly how the army works, and I've never heard it be called a slanesh whip cheese army but i think this is the army you are refering to.

Twin Lash Prince is another name for it. I've never heard it called Whip Cheese, but I'm not American and that food product doesn't exist in the UK.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

it involves using 2 Demon Princes with Lash of Submisson (psychic power) with plague marines as your troops units, and 3 units of 3 obliterators as your heavy support.

there are variations of the list that involve sorcerors instead of demon princes, and defilers or vindicators instead of oblits.

That product doesn't exist in the U.S. either. The product is "Cheese Whip."

Some also use noise marines with blastmasters in addition to the lash princes and obliterators

noise marines with blastmasters will be out-performed by plague marines every single time.

blastmasters are the single biggest waste of points in the chaos codex. 40 points for a glorified missile launcher? no thanks.

The idea is to lash (move) people's resilient squads off objectives on the very last turn: among other things.

Armies | Orks (2000 - Magna-Waaagh!) - | Blood Angels (1500 - Sylvania Company) - | Dark Eldar - (1500 - Kabal of the Golden Sorrow) - | Salamanders (1000 - Vulkan Ravens) - | Chaos (1500 - Wisdom and Wrath) -

Whipped cheese? I thought that was the falcon. These days that cheese is really whipped. What happened? I guess the falcon got married to an IG tank and doesn't get to go out much anymore...

YES!!!

Been too long since I heard that term!

@scuddman
The falcon hasn't been cheese since 4th ed. It never was cheese, nothing is cheese IMO, but incredibly hard to kill.

@OP
It's dual lash chaos, arguably the best army at 1500 points and the best chaos build in the book.

2 Lash Prince
2-4 PM quads in rhinos with a combination of melta/flamer/plas
3 x 3 oblits.

It gives you everything you need to win a game. Great list, but it annoys some people because of the lash. A smart player eliminates the princes first in nearly any situation but people still complain about it.

Another strong (cheesy) use of the lash army is moving enemy troops into one big tight ball, and using blast weapons weapons. That is why the list is usually accompanied by olbits, defilers or vindicators.

noise marines are pretty effective at that since doom siren auto hits. the blast template can always drift off. as far as demon princes pulling them off the objective last turn.... at least in my experience the demon princes dont live that long. I'd be really surprised to have even 1 left on turn 5

I didn't know plague marines were used, i thought it was more common to use beserkers or noise marines. Can someone explain how plague marines work within this tactic?

Imagine them doing what any other marine does, except being much harder to kill.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

they're just really really hard to kill. also they can spam meltaguns without taking a full strength squad. cover + defensive grenades + toughness 5 + feel no pain + marine armor + fearless makes for an extremely stubborn objective holder.

considering that you're only paying 8 points extra per man, as opposed to a normal chaos space marine, they're really quite a bargain.

Haha Lukaspukas, thanks for all the help guys, i probably not going to take any plague marines, i just dont like the way they look. Im going to go for the two DP with lash of submition and get some defilers, you lash of submition on my friend's (Lukaspukas) nids and just blast them to pieces with the battle cannon. Its a shame i dot like plague marines considering there one of the best troops for chaos :(. Any other good ideas for good chaos troops?
