I'm thinking that the Cloak and Robes theme should be continued onto his bodyguard - be it a Command Squad, Honour Guard or whatever. Maybe even to a degree on Veteran Sergeants in his company as well. Red is also a trend I want to stick. What do you guys think?

Top one being #5? If so I've been liking that one too. The only thing I think I need to change is the helmet. Maybe make it the same color as the torso.

I fixed the pic for #7 a few posts up.

5,6,7 are the finalists for my army so please by all means let me know your thoughts. I really like all 3 and they all would be fun to paint. Though I am a little groggy from a birthday night filled with my fav beer and CoD, I'm going to try and get some work done on the shoulderpads and take a swing at making a mould and casting some. Also I might try and make some progress on a few vets.

I'm liking #7 for no particular reason.

When you say "clean" I assume you mean "clean (with 87.6% of the fluff/images/art/rules we already have)".

Edit: They're all so good! Maybe they can be different depending on each company? That we each one of us could potentially use one of the schemes for "our" company. Obviously, that also means we could all use the schemes more or less interchangeably.

I think it's going to be #7. I suppose it could go by company. I'm going to head back to B&C and work out some variations on #7 to fit captain, sarge, dev squad markings, all that fun stuff. Be back

You can always do what I did, have one scheme for your basic guys and invert it for your veterans/characters.

I think I will try converting Atrum Inritus soon.. maybe some marines to accompany him as well..

Also, it's strange, the B&C painter pictures I posted of Atrum (using my laptop) show up still on my laptop, but not on my (or your) computers.

@Void- You are just a ray of sunshine lately. The contrast issue you are talking about is the shift from SM painter v9 to SM painter V5. For some reason the colors dont transfer well. Its the same color code on both painters, even if it does look a little different.

Anyway, V5 is my preference. Will remake my images now.

Im thinking of starting another chapter called the Saints of Maximus and they are quartered gold and white. the gold and black looks pretty cool though too. Im also goin to be using alot of the maximus armor from FW so i those drawings that you had gave me some more ideas ^_^

Void I love it! That is an amazing character! I cant wait to try and make him.

The idea was to make him a sort of Assassin - to pick off high-value targets then disappear as if he was never there. However, I couldn't go overboard on the Assassin thing, as that would step into Champion territory, and we already have that slot filled with another to-be character.
