They are relentless meaning for example, it can fire a plasma rifle at max range if it moves correct? If so whats the point of the adv stabilisation system?

Runnin up on ya.

ASS is for broadsides. Broadsides are not jump troops so do not benefit from being relentless.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Crisis suits still have the option to take the adv stab system though.

And it is entirely useless for them to take.

They can take it, but don't need to, therefore common sense would say to not take it.

To be clearer: Broadside guns, the railgun & SMS, are 'heavy', thus needing A.s.s. to Move & Shoot.

All the guns for Crisis Suits are either 'assault' or 'rapid fire'; the MP, PR, flamer, etc. No heavy weps. That's why Crisis Suits don't need A.s.s.

not true(well only sorta true).

Crisis suits are Jet pack troopers thus have "relentless" not having Heavy weapons is fine, but having Rapid Fire weapons and Relentless is a great way to get that 1 shot fro >12"-max range(something you cannot do when moving if you are not relentless). Having relentless is why Crisis suits do not need A.S.S..

When the new Codex comes out; assuming A.S.S. is in there, it is likely to only be an available upgrade in the broadsides entry. There were many Armory inconsistancies in 3rd and 4th editions where models could technically take equipment that either they already had, or was a downgrade from their basic gear, or cause irreconcilable issues with the units they are with(such as a 4th edition Space marine vet Sgt buying himself a bike and getting in his unit's rhino; all of which were legal at the time).

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

Man, it is still like that. Codex Assault Sergeants can take 2 Dual Lightning Claws. Quad-wielding Lightning Claws.

Well technically IF Crisis Suits had heavy weapons, they are no longer relentless (weird)

But they dont so it doesnt matter

they cant fly with the extra weight of the weapon systems on there back. the railgun power thingy takes up the intire area were the jet pack went.

on my last post. I bet if they had both, they could fly upside down.

Sorta? Mostly? ... naw, all true. And what you pointed out about the ease of using Rapid Fire is correct.

And as for future codex speculation ... we'll see if you're right when it publishes.
