Hello!
Just started 40k a week ago, all the rules are a bit of a headache to me, but i think i got them stuck in my head now. I still dont know if im going to start a Eldar army, Imperial Gaurd army ,Space wolf army or a Tyranid army...

Hey, welcome to dakka dakka and 40k.
As far as the army's go they're all pretty cool, I have a small eldar force and a sizeable ultramarine(space marine) force and my girlfriend has a tyranid force. All of these are pretty cool (from my personal experience) but what i'd suggest is just go with what you think looks coolest.

Hey  Welcome to Dakka! Feel free to clear up any rulles questions in the YMDC section here on Dakka! although I found the best way to get my head around it was just to play alot  From a competitive viewpoint you'd be best off with IG or Wolves, but the most important thing to consider is what you like the look and feel of Eldar are very rwarding to play once you're used to them, but can be difficult to get going with. Just enjoy it
