Hey guys, so, as my collection of miniature badasses has increased significantly over the past few months (spending spree much?) I've been looking into large glass display cases to hold and display my models when off duty. The girlfriend will probably appreciate not having a giant ork army sitting on top of our tv unit, and my imperial guard army resting on the dresser in the bedroom, while our hallway closet is filled with dark elves, beastmen, empire, and space marines!

So, just wondering, where do YOU keep your models? Have they taken over the house, and as a result you've had to move out? :O

I've got a whole room full
My CSM's, half built IG and some of my Eldar are in cases under my painting table, The DE and Chaos Daemons just stand around on top of my painting table and the wardrobe is full of half empty boxes of sprues and and other rubbish
I also host my mates SM's and Orks that spend half their time in cases and the rest of the time by the window and on any other available flat surface
Its an organised mess...honest

Yeah, I'm planning on getting a big glass display cabinet too, but a good one seems to cost about 800 bucks over here...

Ya, same here. I just found one on Kijiji though for $100. It's supposed to be a booze cabinet, but it's perfect for models! Has a mirrored backing too. Fingers crossed! Then I'll just have to find a place for all my boxes full of unassembled miscellanea and bits....hmmmm. Time to search for a nice big trunk that matches the cabinet!

Figures - In foam trays (Figures in Comfort type) stacked in a chest of draws.
Vehicles - Loose on shelves.

Not bothered about displaying them I just want them all out of the way

I used to have them on display, but then I started playing, so now they sit in their army case when they're not on the field. I can't be bothered to remove and set up 120+ models and then pack them back up unless I at least get a game out of it.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
