I don't get it. Why dont they just put the Emperor in a dreanought. He is a corspe lying on a throne killing nothing. If the corpse of a space marine can be put in a dreadnought, why can't his? Just imagine the emperor in a dreadnought, the guard or space marines would not have to lose as much because in battles the Emperor coulod just raise his hand and every enemy will just die. Respond to what you think.

Because he is doing more than just rotting slowly to himself. He is protecting a webway entry and the daemons which lurk within/which can get into the human section of the webway.

His corpse is keeping the Intergalactic beacon alive. Without it the Imperium would loose Faster than Light travel and essentially be isolated, each world having to fend for itself. Given that the other races do not have this problem (Orks are absolutely everywhere, Necrons and Tau relying on an alternate method of travel, Eldar being on gigantic craft worlds, and Nids having a collective hive mind, not to mention random psykers cropping up everywhere becoming Daemon Portals) Humanity would figuratively die out overnight.

Surely because of a few small reasons;

- the emperor is busy using his physic might to prevent the daemons in the goldern throne webway section from breaking though into Terra.
- the emperor is busy using his physic might to make the astronomicon work.
- I assume there is a point where one's body is too damaged to be placed into a dreadnought; you know, when the greatest life support machine in the entire imperium is failing to keep someone alive then what changed does a dreadnoughts systems have.

They actually wouldn't, they have FTL travel that doesn't use the warp. And the astronomican isn't needed to do a warp jump, it just helps immensely.

Yeah but that isnt imperial. Although without the Emperor, the Nids would probably loose interest in this galaxy altogether.

But on topic: That would have to be one hell of a Dreadnought to contain the Emperor. He needs 1000 psykers everyday to keep him alive. The Dreadnought wouldn't be very plausible.

They wouldn't.Astronomican came into being only because Warp was becoming too dangerous.

Why bother.
Terra is protected by so much stuff it's ridiculous to even go there in a conventional ship. The Necrons managed to get to Mars and landed on it but were destoyed.
The Emperor is pretty safe where he is now. Why risk him and with him the future of humanity.

Call me crazy, but the skyscraper sized complex of incomprehensible archaeotech life support and who knows what else systems that constitute the Golden Throne and are required for the continued survival of the Emperor might be just a little more sophisticated than a dreadnought. Not only would he probably die but as a load-bearing God Emperor his removal from the throne would likely have catastrophic effects elsewhere.

Actually their FTL travel uses the Warp. But they don't need the Astronomican in the sense that you can still run with your eyes shut.
