Hey, I thought I would just introduce myself.
After dabbling in 40k in my twenties, only to leave it for 10 years... I couldn't deny the appeal of the books and, like many, the Horus Heresy dragged me in.
Now older and wiser, and settled down, I thought it would be nice to revisit gaming and minatures. My wife seems to be accepting (just : )
Well its safer that partying and getting drunk!

So I looked into the Red Scorpions, only to put that on hold, and am now working on a 2000pt renegade army, with more of a jungle theme.
I love IA and forgeworld, and am happily customising, and tinkering with Army Builder.

Although not competitive, I would like to occasionally join in some league/club in Essex if anyone knows of one?
I see 40k as a great way to switch off from the daily grind, and embrace my inner geek.
