Thunderhawk Pilot Dropping From Orbit

Hello Everyone,
I have been reading this forum for a couple of weeks and i have uploaded to the gallery, so i thought i should really make my First post 
I am from the UK and my Main army is Necrons  , but i am starting to colelct Space Marines  . Looking back at my necrons now i am wondering if i should go back and repaint some of them as i am not happy with the quality  (they were/are my first)
But since i got AOBR the other year for christmas, i have been slowly building my Space Marine army, and i mean slowly, i got a Whirlwind this christmas. But i dont have any thing else lol. I am collecting them more for the fun of making and painting them.
Sadly my Friends that i started palying with have moved around the country so i very rarely get the chance to play (I play more DoW II than actual table top ATM), i should really get invovled with my local GW shop, But i am recently a new Dad, so that has a lot of constraints on my time
I love reading the posts on here to give me ideas on how to improve my painting, or how i can play around with greenstuff.
So as and when i get time to paint (actaully geting more after getting the GW painting station for Christmas so i can sit in the lounge with my waife and paint rather than hiding away in another room) I will upload more pictures

Urm ... about 1500.
Its not a massive army, but when i meet up with my friends (sadly not too often) we don't want the games being too long, or we just paly apoclypse 2v2.
