My 1000th Post! W00t!

In celebration of this (non) event, I invite Dakka to participate in the biggest "Arena of Death" battle ever!

The 40k universe has so many special characters - and now it's time to find out who the ultimate champion is! The rules are thus:

1) There will be a total of 32 special characters used (assuming we can get that high!). I'll select the first character, and the next poster can add another (you can add more than one if you want!) until we have 32.

2) The 32 characters will be paired off into tournament brackets, 1 vs 1. The winner will advance to the next round.

3) Each round consists of 3 bouts. In the first bout, one of the two characters will be considered to charge in to combat. (No shooting, but abilities like Ghazkull's WAAGH! and psychic non-shooting abilities are allowed). These characters will then fight to the death. No Ld tests, or No Retreat wounds, just to the death. In the second bout, the other character will be considered to be charging. Then the same rules apply. If someone has won 2-0, that character advances. If it's 1-1, one final bout will be fought, with NEITHER character counting as charging - as if they had previously been locked in combat. The winner of this bout advances to the next round.

4) Each bout is a "fresh" game, so if a character has a "one-use" ability, they can use it every bout.

5) Once I draw up the tournament bracket, feel free to do a match yourself - so long as you post what you did, and update the bracket in your post.

6) The last man (or woman!) standing is the winner!

Ghazzie is a tough match but if you play it right you can avoid his waagh and take him out afterwards when he is relatively weak.

Ghazzie is a tough match but if you play it right you can avoid his waagh and take him out afterwards when he is relatively weak.

He did win the recent Characters VS match on GW's site though.

Which reminds me. Lysander should be here to given that he almost cracked Ghazghkull's skull.

Lysander is an absoulte tank... although RAW he is infantry i'm pretty sure RAI he was meant to be a tank...

WOW!!!!! I was expecting Angron to be good. he just a blood thirster basically with no cool rules or unique abilities.
A daemon prince primarch with 10,000 years of gifts from khorne and he has a 3+ save and psychic powers work on him. LLOLOOLOL
