Hi new gamer here.
Been building and painting my army for about 8 months now but havn't really had a chance to play. (New baby which makes it hard to dedicate more than an hour at a time to anything)
My main army is Tyranids with aproximatly 2000 points.
Secondary army is Ork but no viable fielding just picked up the models that looked like they would be fun to paint. 
Also building some terrain which has proven to be a lot of fun.
Anyway will be playing my first game this Friday so wish me much carnage.

So far my terrain includes a ruin of a house I made by cutting sprus (sp?) into bricks and glueing them together. Then a made a few hills and some mutated forests.
The Forests are made using some really spiney weeds I found all dried up. They are pretty tough so hopefully will last awhile but may prove to be too delicate we'll see.
One day when I get them painted I'll post some pics but don't hold your breath.
