I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in a previous thread (if so, lock) but I'd thought I'd let you guys know that our GW store will be receiving a black box (preview of codex/sprues) on Saturady 12th March (UK). I assume the same is true for all the other GW stores and a few FLGS. Our store (hereford) is having a 'party' for it at midday!

This is big news for me as I'm very excited for GK's!!!

Yeah...I wasn't keeping track of the Fantasy/40k flip flop and showed up as the Fantasy Ork box did...it should be next week for sure...have had it on my calendar for a few week now.

The contents seem to be the GK Terminators, the Dreadknight and the codex. Advance Orders will propably be up next wednesday.

No Power Armored Grey Knights in plastic....?

I'm not saying that there have to be, but looking at the wargear options, if there is no plastic kit for PAGK then it's going to be a scramble to find full squads of sword guys or psilencer models.

GW has still left Thunderwulf Cav hanging out in the wind, so it wouldn't surprise me if they dropped the ball completely on this one as well.

Once again Dakka goes crazy for unfounded rumors. Where did anyone ever say there were not new PAGKs? All that was mentioned was what would be in the samples. They do not send all the kits coming in a release in the Black Box. It has been this way for ages. The Orc Black Box had the Spider and Savage Orcs. Not the new SO Boar Boyz. The Dark Eldar Black box did not have a Ravager or Hellions.

Stop jumping to conclusions and getting fueled on your nerd rage already. It's getting old.

As has been said, I ment just the contents of the black box. There will be plastic PAGK, don't worry. :p All should be clear next Wednesday.

I am not really that excited. I was initially... but then I saw some blurry pictures of the dreadknight/optimus prime and it made me sad. So I don't think I'll get any daemon hunters.

I don't know... Just as you said, the pics are blurry. I'm hoping for the best, but will probably get one anyhow. I'd hope they aren't a total failure like the Stormraven. Even if it isn't the best, I'm sure it won't be too hard to convert. I'm sure we'll see clear pics by next week.

Interestingly, if the pictures come out Wednesday, Games Night at my Uni's club will turn into talking about Grey Knights again...Ah well. Should be interesting!

I, on the other hand, am much more excited about the impending arrival of my Imperial Cruisers kit for BFG.

But GK are cool too...

You don't need a source in this case, this is simply how this process has worked for the last year or so with every release, just like the fact that not every new kit is in the Black Box, just certain ones GW has decided to send for preview. About a week after the last major release date the Black Box for the next major release hits the stores. Concurrent to that event, GW posts pics of the sprues on their website announcing that the Black Boxes have gone out in order to drive people to the game stores to check it out. Orcs & Goblins are released on Saturday, March 5, the following week, give or take a few days, the Black Box for the next major release, Grey Knights, will be in stores and GW will advertise the fact. Everyone who's been in the hobby for more than two months should know all this, it's "old news".
