Sadly I don't have that many models anymore to show off so I'll make one next year. on the 31st of december 2015 . I really love "all the models on the table"idea. The dark angels look good. Keep it coming.

That pod looks awesome. I particularly like the overhead shot of it with its ramps down, looks really cool.

That is such a lot of models! no wonder it took you so long to set up, definitely agree your table is too small

Hope you and the fellow readers have a great holiday season!

@Gits - Quite the productive day that one, While the parents are up and taking care of the mini me I do get some nice time to myself

@Miss Dee - Ha! try posting in your mobile! that was a mission in of its self

@RBeijers - I'll hold you to that comment, 31st Dec 2015 you'll be getting a message from me

@Cam - You're right, how did I not see that as the solution! Apocalypse table you say, how big would that need to be?

@Mad - Cheers buddy, hope you have a great break as well!

Update: so with 11 tac troops I figured I'd do a test one to see how it all looks and how quickly I can knock it together.

Done

Overall took about an hour and a half, so I suspect I could get all the tac marines done in a couple of days If I get the time.

Ah, for those who followed me from early on will remember the yellow tinge to the next round of photos. I'm painting from home now, so not under those nice bright lights at work, got my energy saver lightbulbs and they all have a yellow tinge to them. I might go get some energy saver dayglow ones this week though.

Looking great I think.

Edit your pics, make them cooler, that should make them more white. You should have that option in most software.

Well I think a few apocalypse templates should destroy a few of your assembled mini's there Knightly... and you really do need a larger gaming table

Also, loving Cypher so far too

@Cam - Point well raised, I'll see what MS Paint can do when I get a moment at it.

@Gits - My gratitude to you kind sir for coming to save the day with photoshop!

@Damo - Cheers mate, I had wanted to get all the Chaos lords I own redone before years end, however I failed a little bit on that. And for Cypher, I'm actually considering having him very bland, I don't see him covering his items with scripture, I always got the impression he was angry at what the imperium had become and as such didn't hold on to their tenets and such... no squiggles.

@AUC - Only a few? I reckon a Reaver could make mincemeat out of all those models on the table

Update: after reading Gits year in retrospect I thought I would steal the idea and make it my own. But first up, a blurry shot of Cypher in his current state

So how about Knightley's year in review?
Items for 2014
1. Complete all my current tanks I started at the end of 2013. Failure I still have the spider tank but I was so close on this one.
2. Have my new Necron force completed. Failure, Most of them are still sitting in boxes, commission work and slow painting are to blame on this one.
3. Finish the repaints on both my Dark Angels and Ultramarines. Pass I smashed this out of the park very early on.
4. Paint my felblade after having it stare at me for 3 years. Pass again, smashed this one in the face.
5. Repaint all my currently owned Chaos Lords. Failure but I was pretty close.
6. Start and complete some commission work for mates. Pass however this took a lot longer than anticipated.

Items for 2015
1. Completed my Necron Force
2. Finish up enough Terrain for my gaming table
3. Complete an Inquistorial henchmen force (3 squads of 12 guys + Inquisitors and Chimera's for each squad)
4. Make general progress on the Grey Knights and Gray Nights.
5. Get faster at commission work.
6. Finally get around to repainting the 10 devastators from my old paint style.

Not much to put up on the board for 2015, however there is a ton of models to get through, feel free to post up your year in retrospect and what you hope to do this year!

I am a very big fan of how the cloak came out so any new guys I paint (not from the GKs or GN's) will be getting this new method.

That Cypher update is awesome, I really like that cloak! Nice work as usual.

And my hobby goals?

2014 was me getting back into things after a long hiatus and starting to finally paint up my army. Was slow but steady progress and got a lot done, main achievement was gaining some skills and confidence in actually painting.

2015, my goals are:

- Get all currently owned tyranids modelled and painted.
- Paint up the terrain pieces I have to match Hive Fleet.
- Actually play some games... haven't had a rumble on the table since fourth edition
- Keep learning and getting better... I'm still pretty new, so easy goal this one
