Lets see...
6 Monstrous creatures (one with wings), 13 elites/medium size creatures and 70 smaller gribblies. So 89 models all up.
I'm going to break it up by doing a troop brood, then elite brood, and then "reward" myself with a MC, then go back to another troop brood. Otherwise I'll paint up all the bigger bugs and never finish the gribblies

Looks like a fair decent sized army, I hate to think what I have to paint this year, I think its like 120 odd models if I'm really productive. which at this current rate seems so.

So happy that you're branching out into other things. Your "crisp and grey" is fantastic... but you're capable of so much more. Cloak free-hand is a great touch and a very nice way to finish off the figure.

@AUC - I do feel I rushed the cloak freehand, however I wanted to get them done. I might revisit if I get time.

@Gits - I agree, I like being able to paint other things now and again, I've been doing the Crisp and Grey army for such a long time, its nice to branch out.

@AUC - Not quite a Knight titan, I have another plan for one of those, I had seen a picture on the net about 3-4 years ago which showcased a different version of the defiler, I was very impressed with it, however as I wasn't playing chaos I went about making an imperial based one.
@Mad - Heh, not really a thing, well until I made it, currently its a counts as venerable dreadnaught, that is until something else awesome comes along!

You do know there are a lot of different Knight classes out there, not all of them are bipedal Knightly. Thats why I thought it was your aim. There were some shots of sketches from warhammerfest last year from the fw crew of possible Knight's they may attempt.

@Gits - Sensors have been designed in the chest protrusion, I took the internal face from the top and put it on the end of the cannon
@AUC - That I didn't realise, this raises a lot more possibilities, I may need to come up with a Ion sheild generator somehow and get that onto the model, Thanks heaps for the ideas!!
