G'dmorning all. I started in this hobby last millenium with a range of Gorkamorka, which were then promoted to 40K wargaming vs my brother's DE and SM. The Ork affinity stayed with the new range of models due to their ramshackle style which was forgiving of my limited conversion skills at the time, besides they were effective, never lost a game. Im sure many an Ork player can vouch for the quality of quantity. Ahh dakka...

Anyway my circumstances changed, I hadn't the space to bring my army with me, and I left the hobby bringing only a single lucky die and an affinity for the word "squig". Cue life of adventure beyond the bubble of blissful battling, gone from geekhood granted girlfriends given gifts of games purchased for performing on powerful playstations. However, the kindling of command, the subtle seduction of strategic supremecy, the lording of hordes and blowing away of foes in frays was still glowing in the core. I wanted back in.

And I wasn't alone. In secret my brother, my nemesis you could say, has been amassing an army of the new Dark Eldar. Our old armies were consumed in a fire years ago, rulebooks, paints and all, so again the call goes out for combat.

So now I find myself a general without an army, and conveniently in a time and place where I can again support the fiscal spatial and temporal requesites of this costly passtime. My time is not as free as it once was though, nor is my space, so this bout I'll not be returning to the Waagh. Their charm remains although for practicalities sake I'll be aiming to field armies that are effective with fewer units. If anyone has recommendations for which race would be best I'm all ears, shooty is my preference. You'll also find me cruising the tactics forums and posting some fluff once I decide on a force.

See you in the world

Well, since space seems to be an issue, you should avoid all of the horde armies.

And of course, Welcome to Dakka.
