This is my 1000 point list, for friendly games with some buddies, the usual armies i fight are, 2 different chaos marines, orks, black templar, space wolves, space marines, and tyranid.

HQ- shaso with irridium to bump his armor to 2+, he has a cyclic ion blaster, missle pod, multitracker so he can fir both, stimulants so he gets feel no pain ( and a re-roll of unsaved wounds) sheild generator for a 4+ invul save, hardwired drone controller for free, and 2 sheild drones for basically 2 extra wounds if needed, and since they take on the armour save and toughness of the unit they accompany it gives them a 2+ save and 4 toughness each with my hq i also run 2 shasvre body gaurds both with burst cannons and one with a fusion blaster and one with a missle pod both units have mutli trackers

troops- i break my fire warriors down into 4 6 man teams so if they assaulted they fold like lawn chairs, enabling my team to shoot at the enemy the next turn

troops- i usually use 10 kroot warriors, as an extra troop choice, but im thinking of dropping them for some battle suits as i dont have any elite units

transport- i run a devilfish with burst cannon and smart missle system as it does not need line of sight and is a heavy 4 weapon.

heavy- i run a broadside with smartmissle a hardwired drone controller, and 1 shield drone advanced stabilization so he can move and fire, and a hardwired multi tracker to fire both weapons a turn

heavy- the last but one of the most importants units is my hammerhead with railgun, i add a smart missle system and multi tracker so i can move and fire my weapons the hq/bodygaurd combo cost is pricey at 310points but it is hard as nails to deal with for lightly armored troops the devil fish comes in at 100 with the upgrade the 4 fire warriors cost 240 the kroot are 70 broadside is 110 hammerhead is 170 bringing me up to 1000points.


i think this is a good army but i would love peoples feedback, like i said im wanting to add 2 battlesuits in and take out maybe the kroot of devil fish? im also thinking of adding a 2nd sheild drone to the broadside as he always draws lots of fire. i was also thinking of adding a disruption pod to the hammerhead but most of the time i get a good cover save from the terrain set up and dont need it as i rarely move with this unit

I think you need to get some pathfinders in there, and dont drop the kroot, there ment to defend your firewarriors, they are a very important unit to have, and I would also either get a few Tetras or Piranhas in there for vehicle blocking.
