Also for 2 less mega armor nobz in your list you get

2 squads of 10 grots and a grot herd, now your troops can go have fun and leave the runts to do the objective babysitting.

I have run a list very similar with some proxied termies for meganobs, just dident have enough. On the plus side its hard to find something nastier in close combat, except mabye dark angels deathwing, on the bad side with no shields it is possible, though unlikely that hardly any of your wagons will make it across field.

This army would really benefit from some minor tweeking. First off, having all those guns on your wagons is pointless because you're going to want to be moving them at cruising speed every turn anyway so the guns won't be shooting. You will also benefit hugely from adding in a KFF Mek. I know you will only be able to have one unit of MANZ as troops but you should really consider bringing a squad or two of grots along to objective sit anyway.

I played a similar army briefly a couple years ago after picking up a crap load of MANZ at an auction for next to nothing. I proxied land raiders for BWs at the time but ended up selling off my MANZ when I started another project.

You are going to have a great looking themed army that should be somewhat competitive with some tweeking.

On the plus side its hard to find something nastier in close combat...

Actually regular nobs with diversified gear, cybork bodies, and a painboy are a much better CC unit.

I'm with the droppign armament off the BW in favor of some grots to hold objectives and maybe if you can afford the points a kopta or two to aim at somethign that will likely pop a wagon poitn it at that and blow it up and consider it points well spent

The only thing about the grots, is where would they fit in story wise? I can see the deffkopta sorta but not to much for the grots. Although I could make mega armor grots lol. But I am not seeing grots in badmoons, dont know their story much.

Badmoonz, are the richest of the Ork tribes, why wouldn't they keep goblin slaves to carry all of their belongings/ hold objectives (Wotch da loot) while they go bust heads? Seems plausible to me..

if you need story wise the reason the grots are there in the first place i'd say that they are there because the orks started camped at that objective adn the orks are going off ot fight while the grots and the ruth's are there to make sure the orks have some food when they come back.. maybe do a roast pig model for the ruth's squig hound model ?

or maybe they are a big mek's grots borrowed in case there is a problem with the mega armor and the ruth is making them stay on the battlefield to rush in for repairs if needed. throw some wrenches and tools in the mix to explain they are the pit crew of sorts

Drop the warboss or ghazz for a KFF mek and some red paint for your wagons. The KFF will really help make sure those deff rollas keep on rollin'!

This list is insane; I like it.

It's very sad there are no longer rules for Nazdreg. Ghaz is very much a Goff.

I play a list similar to this on Vassal, it's actually Quite effective, I second dropping the Warboss For a Mek, he is great in here.

The only problem is that with all power claws you may take casualties before you even hit.

Actually yes Ghaz is a Goff, but have you heard of Warlord Nazdreg and Piscina IV?
Here Ghaz allies with Nazdreg(which is what I am naming my warboss). Basically Nazdreg has the finest of meks in the galaxy and Ghaz wants to use the "tellyportas" that they made to test it on a planet names Piscina IV before the launch of his WAAAGH across the galaxy using the tellyportas. This is where they fought the Deathwing, hence where this list comes from (pretty clever list Dr. DK). Hmm I actually could take a big mek, since Ghaz leaves Priscina with Nazdregs top mek and the secrets of the tellyporta. So lol I will change it to a bik mek haha

The big mek w/ KFF is a good idea but I think you benefit better with 2 warbosses giving you more troops.

I would say if you wanted to, drop a kopta to diversify your nobz, then again you will benefit strongly from the koptas so its up to you and how the work for you.

Can't wait to see some battle reports!

In an apocalypse issue of white dwarf, somebody uses EPIC killa kans as "grot bots" they look great with a grot head on top and they fit in techno wise wiif da moonies!

I love boom gun. They are lots of fun!

Always put 10 mega nobs in the troops. this is scary to everything in the game and it can hold too.
i once chased Abaddon off an objectives with this unit ( again it can hold )

i also dont think you need the big mek with the KFF when was the last time you drop 5 landraiders on turn 1

Haha true, but with the KFF it will make sure that doesnt happen. Also it fits really well into the fluff as Ghaz took Nazdregs best mek with him. I just bought all the meganobz last night so they should be here towards the end of the week. I will be scratch making all the battlewagons too. I might make Ghaz from bits and plasticard too. Keep in mind I am making this army to Golden demon standards =D

One is limited in the amount of diversity available with MANZ, but it is possible to a degree and it is helpful. Obviously, there are only three options, but that keeps the unit at full strength until four wounds have been taken instead of only two.

I would be tempted to run Grotsnik and a Mek in this list.

It is also a good idea to run the troop unit at a larger size.

So the meganobz arrive tomorrow! I am not a fan of Grotsnik without Ghaz for fluff reasons. But the FNP would be sweet! I also picked up the Forge World runtbot for my Big mek. The grot is indeed Nazdreg's most cunnin' and in touch with Mork and Gork. So the grot powers the runtbot to make the things he is far too weedy to pickup metal to weld them together. I am not sure as to why diversity would help the meganobz? Can you clarify on that?
