Hello everyone,
Long time visitor, as many of the great painting tutorials on the net are found here, but I just registered today. Honestly, I don't know what took so long.
I've been painting Warmachine Cygnar faction minis for about 15 months now, and painting minis for about 18 months total. And I FREAKING LOVE IT. But I am ashamed to say that only this past weekend at Adepticon did I get my first actual game in, courtesy of a local Chicagoan Press Ganger. He let me win, but coached me through each decision. I know now that I chose a first mini game wisely. That said, there's a Games Workshop about 250 yards from my back door, and I keep finding reasons to go pick up a pot of Boltgun Metal or basing materials. Eventually I will succumb to the inevitable and pick up some Space Marines, but I have a lot of unpainted metal to get through before I take the plunge into the GW world.
Anyway -- that's me. Nice to finally join you all!
