Your life would be even shorter and your death even more horrible.

Me? I'd want to be any of the High Lords of Terra.

A High Lord of Terra is far more likely to be assassinated (or liquidated, Soviet-style), than to reach old age.

But living in a Sisters convent, giving massages and helping them bathe? How exactly would I be dying sooner than a Guardsman? Explain, please.

Nah. Guardsman Hawke from Storm of Iron. He owned. If you haven't read Storm of Iron, read it...and see how badass mr Hawke is...

A rogue trader. I mean, come on, they have a 'get out of jail free' card for everyone short of the Inquisition.

Personally, I'd load up my ship with the hottest, most dangerous women I could find and embark on an adventure somewhere between Tenchi Muyo, Irresponsible Captain Taylor, and Bible Black.

One of the sisters would be bound to notice your pants getting tighter. Especially in the uniforms of the ecclesiarchy they give you.
From there it's a short road to a fiery purging.

Well... we could spare your life.
But we're going to have to remove the daemon.

Did someone say KILL IT WITH FIRE?

I wanna be a Rogue Trader. Because then I could be badass while still being very FANCY. And we all know that the fancier you are, the more likely you are to survive in the 41st Millennium... that's why none of the important people have helmets.

In the 40k universe, Daemons run rampant for a long time before they are purged...

If my one-eyed monster has the run of the convent for a few years, totally worth it!

I would probably be a guardsman that gets drafted and then freaks out when I see some of the horrible things that I'm expected to fight with a lasgun and then either gets shot or put in a penal legion for running away where the process repeats and then my collar gets 'sploded by a custodian to keep the other penal troopers in line.
