I don't know how Kickstarter screens things, and if they'd even be allowed to... but this is plenty of funding to get this game and all its' peripherals out, I think.

They also have to deliver a bunch of games at that price while, at the same time, have simply pre-loaded a bunch of the likely sales meaning future sales are, likely, below what they might be able to otherwise expect.

Not saying Kickstarter's a bad idea, quite the contrary in fact, but just because they raised a good amount of money on the initial one doesn't mean they'd automatically have the cash to do another...

Actually, it's Jessica Beatrice MacGill Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) from "Murder she wrote"

Where'd the first pic come from, Kroot? Also, if anyone is going to survive the Zombie Apocalypse, I'd bet on her being high on the list... low expectations from others / not looking like an outward threat, out-thinking everybody, cold and calculating... yep.

Also, I found out someone who frequents my local store bought this (I may have miscommunicated earlier- I'm a big fan of it, but didn't have the funds since I'm already backing another kickstarter for a similar amount this month- Modest Magic!) so I will get to try it out, after all . Particularly looking forward to the expansion and playable character zombies!

I'm really happy that they're both 28mm and mounted on flat bases, meaning I can easily fit them into my 7TV/7OMBIETV games.

I thought it was more racially loaded than that. I recall GTA Vice City getting in lawsuits over the liberal use of the term.

I have most of those Hasslefree figures, they are fantastic. This is one of my favorites though:

I am not despite the term being pejorative.
I am more worried by El Cholo's use of the word "Joder". Which I think can be translated more or less when the are is on the end to mean "Dammit".

Huh that is wierd. Dakka just autocorected the letter "R" as "are" above.

Go ahead and quote this post and see the difference in the preview. Dakka, your autuocorrect sucks.

I may not be the best judge.

I had to have it explained to me that I was supposed to find "cracker" and "honkey" offensive and not just hilarious nonsense words George Jefferson would use

Wouldn't Eva have been better with her sword at an angle so that you can see it rather than hiding it straight behind her? I realise it makes for easier moulding this way, but it just doesn't look as good. Great sculpting otherwise though.

I've ordered direct from Hasslefree multiple times with no issues.

C'Mon minis sells them as well (the same folks bring us Zombicide).

FRP games sells them too and sometimes has some on sale.

I've bought from all of them, shopping for the best deal.

Postage to the US, especially if you only need a figure or two, can really drive the cost per figure up though.

No doubt Sally and Kev are great folks, and I have a membership card and take advantage of their Christmas sales and will buy direct other times as well. Having said that, sometimes saving a few bucks is a darned good thing... And if you are already ordering from one of the other sites I mentioned, tossing in a Hasslefree fig or two does not generally raise shipping costs on what you were already getting.

True enough, I guess things are a bit different across the Pond with shipping. I personally prefer to spend my dosh at the smaller companies, that way they get every cent of it, which they deserve.
